[̲̅1][̲̅2]- We need to talk

After a visit with the owner and staff of the jazz club, Evelyn managed to put her plan in motion. Once they arrived back at the tower Peter went to see Tony while Evelyn made her way to find Natasha. She soon arrived in front of Natasha's room and gave the door a quiet knock. The door opened soon after revealing the red head who, behind her serious facade, was secretly very happy to receive a visit from her soulmate.

"Hey Nat! I was wondering if maybe I could get your help with something?" Evelyn said hopeful.

"I guess I could, I'm not doing anything at the moment." She responded a light smirk playing on her features. Evelyn moved in the doorway to check the clock sitting in Natasha's room, it read 15:00.

"Well it's only three now so I have about two hours until I need your help getting ready, can we hang out in the meantime?" Evelyn said returning her gaze to the woman in front of her once more. No verbal response was given, but Natasha stepped to the side allowing Evelyn into the room before moving to sit on her bed.  

Evelyn looked around the room, she noticed the room had little to show of Natasha's character other than the fact that she was secretive. Evelyn could feel the red head's eyes on her back as she glanced around the room, making her feel embarrassed for snooping that was a bad habit of hers. 

Evelyn was about to speak up to apologise when she heard a knock resonate through the room. The door opened and a tired looking Clint walked in.

"Hey babe, sorry that took so long once I got back Tony sent me on a wild goose chase because he was still upset with me. I hope you weren't busy or anything I'm just stressed and I haven't talked to E about that thing and-" He said fatigue lacing his voice, he cut his sentence short once he saw Natasha send a nod towards Evelyn who Clint still had yet to notice having let his guard down around Natasha. 

Clint turned slowly to see a curious Evelyn who sent him a small smile and a wave. "Assuming I am E, is there something you want to talk to me about?" She said looking to him. 

"We need to talk, as you know Natasha and I are soulmates with each other as well as you and we understand that you have a couple other soulmates." He paused to chuckle lightly the phrase still felt slightly sour in his mouth. "We would like to take you on a date at some point the three of us. I know you can feel the pull too E and it's killing me." Before Clint could continue Natasha stepped in. 

"That being said we aren't going to do anything that makes you uncomfortable, right?" She said causing Clint to nod in agreeance. 

"Well I still have and hour and a half before I need to get ready for my date so what would you guys like to do in the meantime?" Evelyn asked looking towards the couple, Natasha raised an eyebrow.

"I mean I can think of a couple things-" 

"Nat noooo!" Evelyn blurted out cutting her off,

"Wow you didn't even let me finish my sentence, you don't even know what I was going to suggest." She responded letting her usual smirk settle on her features.

Clint lay himself down gesturing for the other two to join him. 

"Why don't we just relax for a bit, we have time." He spoke looking to Evelyn who quickly moved to lay with him, still leaving space for Natasha next to her. Clint wrapped an arm around her waist bringing her to his person before speaking. "I'm perfectly content like this, unless you had any other plans." This caused Evelyn to turn bright red and give him a playful slap on the arm.

Okayy so I am going to try to make short chapters like this one but update more often. Next chapter will be mostly fluff, and then we'll have the date chapter after that. I hope everyone is doing well!!
