Prologue

Alex's POV

I was walking in the hallway of our huge house and ready to go to the hospital. when I heard my parents shouting at each other. Gumilid ako sa isang tabi para magtago at pinakinggang ang kanilang pinag uusapan.

"Xander what do you mean by that!?" My mom's really angry right now.

"I can't do anything about it because they're all minor!" Inihilamos ni mom ang kamay sa kanyang mukha.

"You can't do anything to the kids but you can do something on their businesses. Wala na akong pakialam sa prinsipyo natin basta mabigyan lang natin ng hustisya si Alexa!" As soon as I hears my sister's name, I became curious.

"That's what I'm going to do!" Inaalo ni Dad si Mom. My mom's crying and I can't help it but to get angry too.

"My poor Alexa. Ano ba ang naging kasalanan sa kanila ni Alexa para gawin nila ito sa kanya. She's a good student. Wala akong maisip na dahilan para magawa nila ito sa kanya." They are both crying in each others shoulder. I was just crying silently with them in the corner.

Nakarinig ako ng mga yapak kaya't mabilis kong pinalis ang mga luha at inayos ang aking sarili bago nilisan ang lugar. Nakasalubong ko ang isang kasambahay at hindi na lamang 'to pinansin.
Nagtuloy tuloy ako patungong garahe at kinuha ang big bike ko saka pinaharurot patungong hospital.

My sister's in the hospital and she's in coma. Her condition is in critical. It has been five days since the incident happened. I was in a car racing when my dad called me that my sistes-Alexa was rushed to the hospital. She was found in the dark alley with full bruises and head injury.

I didn't have time to finished the race and immediately rushed to the hospital after the call. I just called my friends to informed them about my situation. When I reached the hospital, I immediately spotted my dad with some police officer. Maybe they were talking about my sister's case. My dad saw me and told me that my mom's still in front of the operating room.

I saw my mom as soon as I turned right. She's crying really hard and I can't help it but to cry also. I hugged my mom and she hugged me too.

"Mom what really happened?" I asked my mom since I still don't have any idea what really happened.

"We don't know Alex. We just received a call that your sister's here." Naaawa ako kay mom. She's really devastated. Pinilit kong patigilin ang luha ko at inalo si mommy. "I'm terrified Alex, what if your sister left us?" Mabilis ko syang nilingon.

"No! Mom don't think like that. She won't left us. I know mom, I can feel it. She will never left us." Alam ko hindi nya kami iiwan. Nararamdaman ko 'yon. Bata pa lang kami- no scratched that-  nasa sinapupunan pa lang kami ni mom ay magkadugtong na kaming dalawa.

Alexa is my twin sister. Kung ano man ang nararamdaman nya ay nararamdaman ko rin. Kaya alam ko at nararamdaman kong hindi nya kami iiwan. Lumalaban sya. She's a fighter.

Bumukas ang pinto ng operating room at lumabas ang isang doctor.

"Family of Alexandra Howard?" Tumayo kami at inalalayan ko si mommy patungo sa doctor.

"How's my daughter doc? Is she okay?" Makikita ang pag asa sa mga mata ng mommy ko.

The doctor sighed. "As per your daughter's condition, she had a major head injury. We already removed the blood clot and stopped the bleeding but she's still in a critical condition. She lose a lot of blood because of intracerebral hemorrhage and she might be in coma." Parang binagsakan ako ng isang mabigat na bato dahil sa narinig. I can't believe that this is happening.

Ito na ba ang kabayaran sa mga nagawa kong kasalan? Nanghina si mommy kaya mabilis ko syang hinawakan at inalalayan.

"We will transfer her to the ICU to monitor her further." Hindi ko na nagawang tumango sa doctor. Dumating si dad at nakita ang itsura namin ni mommy,
