⚠️Disclaimer: Sister June loses her virginity⚠️
I tossed a berry at Marcus's mouth and watched, almost in slow motion, as it arched through the air. The berry was just about to fly into his mouth when Casbian's body slammed into him. I had to cover my mouth to keep from laughing at his expression, which turned from adorable disappointment, into rage. He rounded on Cas, bring his fist up to punch him, but I quickly grabbed his arm.
"What are you---"
"Easy, Marcus. He didn't mean to," I soothed with a light chuckle. He gave me a disbelieving glare, but Clent spoke up.
"Step away from the fucking ring if you don't want to get hit. We're trying to fight."
He was right. Marcus was in the way.
Cas slowly got to his feet, disoriented from the roundhouse Clent hit him with. I helped him up, using the towel on my shoulder to wipe at the sweat on his face. I gave him a drink of water and a good luck kiss, then sent him back into the ring. "Kick his ass," I whispered with a giggle. Clent heard me, giving me a playful glare, then they were back to fighting like nothing happened. To my far left, Kelen was teaching Alaric how to kick.
Marcus grunted, then snatched me up with his huge hands. "You're coming with me," he announced, throwing me over his shoulder. I just barely managed to get the container of berries before he was stomping away.
"Is this really necessary?" I whined. The blood was rushing to my head and my limbs were already sore from hours of training. He just smacked my ass in answer. I yelped in suprise, then bit my lip to suppress the moan that dared to follow.
It wasn't long before Marcus entered a room, using my feet to close the door behind him. The berries almost fell when he threw me onto a bed.
I opened my mouth to ask him why he was being a cavman, but he climbed onto the bed and kissed me before I could ask. I blinked once, then closed my eyes and kissed him back. He growled lightly in approval, shifting us into the center of the bed. I lost all thoughts in the pleasure of his muscled body against mine. I latched onto his kinky hair roughly and wrapped my legs around his waist. His hips began to grind against me and my answering moan was swallowed by his mouth.
Marcus's hands trailed down my shoulders. Everything about him was rough, but his touch was gentle, which shocked me so much that I pulled away. His eyes were darker now and filled with love....I can't deny it anymore.
He stared down at me, his eye brows slightly furrowed. I rubbed them, loosening the tension.
"What's wrong?"
Marcus continues to stare at me, then smiles. "Those fuckers told me not to, but I love you, June. I thought that soft bastard, Alaric, would say it first, but they're all scared you'll freak out. I don't care. I fucking love you," he rambles. I now see the nervousness behind his tough guy mask.
I know it's not the ideal reaction, but I begin to laugh. His smile crumbles, but I can't hold back the hysteria. After a while Marcus begins to push off of me, but I tighten my legs around him. Finally, I manage to form words. "Alaric is not a bastard."
He glares at me. "That's all you got from that?"
My giggles start back up, but I shake my head. "I love you back, ya big teddy bear," I shout before attacking his face with kisses. My fingers shoot to his side, tickling. Marcus protests, but I hear the rumbles of laughter he tries to stifle.
"My mate is crazy," he mumbles, then pushes me back onto my back. I once again open my mouth to respond, but he bites my lip. I gasp softly, then moan. I thought I was the bitter. His lips connect with mine once more, tongue twirling.
