Soooo... If you guys couldn't tell, I am super bored and have drawn to my life's content, and I dunno what to write for my main book, so I'm gathering ideas while I wait for the mood. I always write the best when I'm in the mood for it, but I mean, who doesn't? I have been Pad searching, on the lookout for more Garrance stuff to read bc their my OTP so shut up. Don't judge me, I'm addicted, ok? Ok. I guess I'll let you read the story now. I dunno if this is gonna be good or not, I'm just occupying myself before I end all suffering. Enjoy my lovelies!
You don't realize you need someone, until they're the only thing you have left.
My heart pounded in my chest. This can't be happening. Not again.
Garroth stood beside me, giving me his toothy grin as he told me about his day.
Sweat droplets made their way down my forehead. I wiped them away before Garroth saw them.
"-and then Zane threw a pancake at me face-"
"Wait, what?" Garroth rolled his eyes and faced me with a playful glare.
"You weren't listening. Again." He crossed his arms over his chest and my face turned ruby red at the realization.
"I-I'm sorry... Just been off in my own world lately." I rubbed the back of my neck in embarrassment. "So... did Zane really throw a pancake at you?"
"Nope. Laurance, are you sure you're alright? I'm worried about you." I mean, other than my obvious crush on you, everything is perfect!
"I'm fine."
"Now this time, look me in the eye and say it."
I met his eyes with my pale blue ones. We were just walking down the street, on our way to dinner when I stopped listening, so Garroth stopped walking. Now, I couldn't bring my attention away from him, and I couldn't lie to him either.
"I- Garroth, I wanna tell you. I really do. But can we save this for later? Please?" His eyes dimmed and he huffed in frustration, dropping the subject. he continued walking down the road so we could reach a restaurant of some sort. I caught up and stuffed my hands in my pockets. "Where are you thinking of going?"
I glanced down at the shorter male and gave him a peaceful smile.
"You seem to only be listening when I talk about food." He chuckled and I giggled at his statement. "But food...? I mean- Ahhh, I dunno. What do you think?"
"Chick-Fil-A?"
"We eat there way too much. Not healthy."
"Dairy Queen?" He scrunched his face up.
"That bitch is disgusting! Bloody Hell no!"
"Gar. Language." He smirked and propped his hand on his hip.
"It's understandable when you talk about things like that." I stuck my tongue out at him and him doing the same back to me before we fell into a fit of laughter.
"We're so childish."
"We? Correction, you." I put a hand on my heart out of mock offence.
"Offended. Wounded. Damage done. Case closed."
He rolled his eyes and did his best to throw his arm around my way-too-tall-for-him-shoulders, giggling in the process. "I sowwy Lauwance. Do you fowgive me?" He spoke in a baby voice, but I was just trying to do my best not to fall apart from his sudden action.
"Yeah I forgive you. Now let go of me Dork."
"No, I don't think I will." (If you get this reference, you deserve Zane's cupcakes).
