Delilah's pov

I looked at my reflection in the mirror, today is the day my dress is beautiful for once I looked pretty. All my bridesmaids are looking gorgeous in their Dusty rose color dresses

I turned around to see my mother looking at me her eyes filled with tears "My baby is growing up" Mom gushed and pulled me in a hug I wrapped my arms around her "love you mom" She pulled away and caressed my cheeks and whispered "love you too baby".

"All this time you've been the perfect Daughter me and your father could ask for, You've never once reneged on our promises and obediently followed our lead, so keep it up and heed your husband's commands. Just remember this darling, the fate of Adler Corp rests solely in your hands."

As those words pierce her, my heart shatters into irreparable fragments, throat constricting with unshed tears.
In this poignant moment, I realized my mother's sole concern remains the future of Adler Corp, leaving my own feelings discarded and forgotten.

"Enough of crying theora, if you continue crying then she will cry and ruin her makeup " Savannah said "ok ok I will go now" said my mom raising her hands in surrender. I quickly wipe the fallen tears as savannah gave me sa sad look as she was only one who could hear my mom's stupid words.

when there was a knock at the door in came my father.

"Oh god she will definitely ruin her makeup" murmured sav a little too loudly which made everyone chuckle at her worries. Then my father cleared his throat and said "it's time for the ceremony so everyone go stand in your places" all of them hurriedly went out leaving me and my father alone.

He came near me and placed his hand on my shoulder "you're looking beautiful Delilah"said my father. "Thank you father".

"I am sorry, for putting you in this position, but believe me this is the best solution for the company and our family Delilah" I nodded my head of course this the best solution for his company and his family, my heart broke further at this very moment I wanted my life to end.

I Do not know how many brides wanted their life to end at their wedding day, but I did.

He nodded his head and gave me his hand for me to hold, I wrapped my right hand to his left and we walked  towards backyard were the ceremony is taking place, leaving the broken pieces of heart scatteredin that room.

Ezra's pov

I am standing in the altar waiting for my bride to come Sebastian is standing beside me as my best man, my mother and father are sitting in front row smiling widely at me, if this contract wasn't made then getting married would be least of my concerns, my parents tried convincing me to date some girl, I always brushed it off cause I didn't have any time running a big company needs lot of time. So they decided to get me married by blackmailing my CEO post.

Anyway now here I am waiting for my bride after a few minutes of smiling at the guests and telling seb to shut up, because he is annoying me by talking non stop to which he pouted saying "you're a meanie" I ignored him as usual.

The music of 'here comes the bride' started I turned to see 4 flower girls walking and throwing flower petals on the ground then came the bridesmaids with groomsmen wearing pink suits and dresses.

Then came the bride with her father. My breath hitched looking at her WOW she is gorgeous, her eyes met mine her blue eyes send shivers down my spine, they walked towards the altar her father kissed her cheek and gave her hand for me to hold.

I held her soft hands when the priest started talking but I couldn't hear anything I was mesmerized by her beauty, she didn't have too much makeup on, yet she looked beautiful, her pink lips was so tempting.
