Ezra's pov

I reached the venue and saw lot of papz waiting, I sighed and asked my driver "Please drive to the back entrance Albert"

I am in no mood to deal with idiots today, as I am already too tired from back to back meetings.

The car stopped, let's get this over with. Sighing I opened the door and got down. I started walking when I saw a girl in beautiful black dress storming outside. Her hair covering her face.

"Delilah" I heard a voice making me turn to see the Adler's shouting.

The girl is delilah my mouth parted, she is looking drop dead gorgeous, she turned to her parents "Why are you leaving?" Asks her mother . Delilah shakes her head and said "Don't worry your son in law will be coming, it is only me leaving" her words full of sarcasm.

My eyebrows scrunch with confusion what this has to do with me?

Everyone was stunned by her "What do you mean Delilah, we want you here too" says her father confused.

"Well it doesn't feel that way, anyway I am of no use to the family or do you have the need to use me now? Is that why you want me to stay?" She scoffed.

"Delilah don't talk to us that way and remember we're your parents" Came her fathers angry voice, I turned towards her "Really you want me to obey you and follow you like a puppy, sorry father. " She asks her voice trembling.

My fist clenched I don't like the tone of her father, and it is the second time I am seeing him using this tone on her. First was when me and my family went to her house for our alliance.

"Del you're our daughter" Says Theora

"Oh you guys remember that now? When you didn't even bother to call me after the wedding and didn't talk to me properly when I called, do you know how worried I was and thought of visiting you guys this weekend, but here you all are busy planning the party and forgot about your daughter, wow fantastic family." She claps, I could feel the anger coming off her but her eyes are sad, her ocean blue eyes is filled with unshed tears and I hate it.

"Kaden was the only person who called me, that too the next day, but after that he stopped as well" she said looking at everyone, I just noticed her friends Savannah and Jennifer also standing there.

Kaden looks down clenching his fist, I could see the guilt on his face.

"I am leaving, Sorry to ruin your happy day" she says and walks towards the car when Paul opened the door for her she sat in.

Paul then lifted his head and his eyes locked with mine, I shaked my head he subtly nodded and sat in the car and drove away.

I looked at her family, everyone sighed. Kaden storm up to his mother "What the hell did you say to her? Can't you for once be nice to her?" He shouts.

"Stop shouting at your mother, Kaden" his father hissed.

He rolls his eyes and looks at Theora for answers she glares at him "First of all when was I not nice to her? and I just asked when her husband is coming as there were few important people we want to introduce him to, I don't understand why she is making a big deal out of it... she is not matured enough and I am worried her being like this will affect our company" her mother spats without a tiny ounce of guilt.

"I can't fucking believe this, you are worrying about the company instead of your daughter?" He scoffs when his wife places her hands on his and drags him away.

My eyes burn with anger, at her mother's hate towards her own daughter. I don't understand why they need me and not Delilah their own daughter?

I feel really bad for my wife for having such a heartless family, I saw Nate Standing there his fist clenched, I don't know at whom he is frustrated, is it towards Delilah or his terrible parents.
