Saturday morning both Amber and I woke up at my house with huge hangovers. We didn't do much that day, Camryn came over in the afternoon and caught us up to speed on why Alec took her home.
"One second I was dancing with this cute guy and the next Alec pulled me away and told the guy to stay away from me." Camryn told us with a slight blush appearing on her face. Both me and Amber let out little squeals at this.
We had been waiting for Alec to make a move on Camryn since forever. We didn't ever have to say it out loud but it seemed kind of obvious that they would eventually end up together.
"Bitch he was totally jealous of you dancing with another guy!" Amber said gushing with joy, she was always a sucker for romance. "So how'd he explain himself on the drive home?" She asked while leaning in, eager to hear Camryns response.
"Well when I asked him he just said he didn't like guys like 'that' being around me, he seemed really pissed." Camryn said while playing with the rings on her fingers.
"I knew it, jealousy!" I practically sang while running up to hug Cam in a hug, but she shoved me off. So I hit her with a pillow, which started a huge pillow fight to breakout between the three of us.
That's how the rest of Saturday went, all of us just gossiping and messing with each other and before I knew it—it was 11:00 and they had to head home.
I spent the rest of my weekend doing my homework and finishing my projects in advance so I could have more free time this week.
Before I knew it my alarm was going off on Monday morning telling me to get ready for school. I groaned and grabbed a pair of blue ripped jeans, and a plain black tee shirt, before I headed to take a shower.
After finishing showering I got dressed and applied some concealer, mascara and curled my eyelashes. I grabbed my things from my room and headed downstairs to the kitchen to make Steven and I some breakfast. We still had half an hour before we had to leave so I decided to make pancakes.
Fifteen minutes later and I finished the pancakes just as Steven walked downstairs. I gave Steven a plate and cut up some strawberries to put on mine. As soon as we finished Steven took the plates and put them in the dishwasher.
"You ready to go?" Steven asked as he slipped on his shoes. I nodded and put my bomber jacket and my converse on. I texted Amber letting her know we'd be there soon.

By the time I got to gym I was actually pretty excited. I had heard from others that we were playing dodgeball. I had a lot of energy to burn off, mostly because I hadn't done much this weekend.
I walked into the girls locker room and quickly changed walking out to meet up with Alec since we had gym together. I saw him in the middle of the bleachers talking to a few other guys.
I smirked and walked over to him, grabbing him by the arm, "Sorry boys I've gotta borrow Alec for a bit." I said while giving the others a little wave. I dragged Alec up to one of the top seats.
"Well that was an aggressive way to say hello." Alec said as he shook his head, "So what's up Vic?"
"Oh absolutely nothing's up with me, but you and Camryn on the other hand..." I said while resting my head on my hand, gauging his reaction. He seemed a bit taken back at first but put on a blank face while mumbling 'nothing'.
"So you weren't jealous at all at the party?" I asked him, seeing as he suddenly found the floor as a very interesting thing to focus on. So I continued, "Cause I heard she was gonna go on a date with-"
"No she's not!" Alec said firmly as he whipped his head so fast to face me. He looked kind of scared, it was funny. I simply smirked back as the gym teacher blew the whistle. He began explaining the rules, as I whispered to him, "By the way I was kidding she's not going on any date with any guy."
I could see him release a tense breath before glaring at me from the corner of my eye. He then
rested his head in his hands and sighed. "Me and Amber told you that you two would become something one day. Don't worry I won't tell her you like her." I said as I nudged Alecs shoulder. Then a loud bang of the gym doors hitting the wall turned everybody's attention to the culprit. I narrowed my eyes as soon as I saw it was Elijah. Why in earth is he here?
He walked over to the gym teacher and spoke a few words to him. The teacher nodded and Elijah headed off to the changing rooms. That meant he would be in this class. I groaned in realization.
Alec turned over to me to see what's wrong, but soon had a smirk on his face. "Don't like Elijah?" He asked as I shook my head in response. "Well too bad, your gonna have to put up with him, he's my friend." Alec said while flicking my head. I was too shocked to respond.
"You mean to tell me that-that douche bag is your friend?" I was completely shocked, how did I not know this? "Is he gonna hangout with us?" I questioned a bit scared.
He nodded, "Be civil for once Vic, he's not that bad, just has a tough exterior." He tried to convince me.
I noticed Elijah coming out of the locker room, him and Alec exchanged nods. And I saw him heading our way. "Fine I'll try." I mumbled as I crossed my arms. Luckily when Elijah came up I was up against the wall so Elijah had to sit next to Alec.
When Elijah made eye contact with me he scowled. I simply glared back until Alec nudged me, I looked back up at him to see him giving me the 'play nice' look.
I rolled my eyes, "Nice to see you again Elijah." I said with no emotion. He just narrowed his eyes in response.
Before we could get into another argument the gym teacher explained he had assigned us into two teams. And of course with my luck, I got stuck on the same team as Elijah, and of course Alec was on the other.
When we were on our side I was surprised to see Elijah stand next to me. But my hopes of being friendly were crushed when I saw him give me a once over and scoff.
If that's how he wants to be then fine. I could tell he didn't think that I had any athletic ability. I was excited for this game and I won't let him stop me from having fun. I could see Alec from the other side smirking at me, he thought he was going to win.
The teacher blew the whistle and we all sprinted to grab a ball. I was one of the few who got one. I threw it at a girl that had another, it hit her arm and she was out. I rushed back and dodged a few others that were thrown at me.
I grabbed another ball and got another kid out. But as I turned around there was a ball coming tight towards me I knew I didn't have time to do anything except guard my face.
I waited for the impact but never felt it. I looked up to see Elijah holding the dodgeball out to me.
