Victoria's POV:
I heard the bell of more customers coming into the diner. So, I grabbed my notepad and pen and headed over to where I saw the customers-two teenage guys-sit down.
"Hi my names Victoria and I'll be your waitress - Oh hey." As I looked up I saw one of the guys was Elijah.
He furrowed his eyebrows at me before mumbling a 'hello' and turned back to his menu.
"Hey you're Victoria Jones right? My names Matt." The other guy said enthusiastically while holding out his hand to shake.
I smiled lightly, "Um yeah I am, nice to meet you?" I said a bit awkwardly.
Matt laughed, "I've heard about you, I'm friends with Alec. He speaks highly about you." He explained with an easy-going smile on his face.
Matt had brown hair that was parted down the middle and blue eyes. Opposed to Elijahs messy black hair and emerald green eyes.
But otherwise they both looked similar, with sharp jaw lines, thick eyebrows and long eyelashes. Yet Elijahs eyelashes seemed to curve up more than Matt's did.
I smiled and shook my head to get out of my thoughts, "Yeah he's one of my best friends." I glanced over at Elijah, who was no longer intensely staring at the menu, but was glaring at Matt.
Well someone is apparently still having mood swings.
"Okay, well what could I get for ya?" I asked while clicking my pen. I glanced between the two of them, waiting for their orders.
"Hmm I think I'll take a cheeseburger and fries, with a chocolate milkshake." Matt said as he closed his menu and placed it on the table.
I jotted it down quickly and turned to Elijah for his answer, but he was already looking at me. I felt like he was studying me. I raised my eyebrow and he seemed to snap out of it.
"Hamburger, cheese fries and a sprite." He said dryly, while placing his menu on top of the other. I saw Matt from under the table kick Elijahs shin.
Elijah grunted before mumbling a 'please'. I felt a bit of blush rise to my face for some reason as I giggled. I gave another small smile before saying, "Okay guys, that'll be out in about ten minutes."
I grabbed the menus and walked back up to the register. I gave the order to Jerry before heading over to Jess to talk with her a bit.
"Hey hon, who are the two hunks you were chatting with over there?" She said slightly teasing me.
I rolled my eyes while smiling, "Just some of Alecs friends, Elijah and Matt." I said while pulling out a chair to sit and talk with her for a bit.
"Really? Cause the one with black hair was staring at you while you walked back here." She said while giving me a pointed look.
I furrowed my eyebrows and slightly glanced at the guys, they were now talking about something, which made Matt throw his head back and laugh. Elijah crossed his arms and rolled his eyes.
But I could still sense he was slightly amused.
I grabbed their drinks once Jerry finished making the milkshake. And stuck my tongue out at Jess as I headed back over to the guys.
I placed the drinks in front of them and gave them a few napkins and two straws from the pouch of my apron. I smiled before heading back over to Jess.
Jess checked her watch, "Hon it's about 8:25, I've got five more minutes, you be good closing up alone today?" She asked as she took her apron off.
