( Haru's narration )
today was the day, the day i met with Kaito, a bounty hunter, that now owns me. It's when i got caught. Now, let us begin with the story, or at least my side of the story.
( Mia and I have finally made it to the market to get supplies for our base. As we stop by a vegetable stand, Mia soon strays away to a toy stand without me noticing. As soon as i notice, i see her remove her mask to speak to the vendor, i specifically told her not to remove her mask, nor to speak to strangers. After i pay for the vegetables i've bought, i make my way to her, satisfied that she didn't remove her hood, or she'd be disrespected again. )
Haru: Come on Mia, it's time to leave.
Mia (sad): Already??
Haru (serious): Yes already, do you want to get caught? And didn't i specifically tell you to NOT remove your mask?
Mia (nervous): Yeahhh..
( Haru grabs her arm )
Mia (shocked): Hey!
Haru (sighs): We're leaving.
Mia (blushing): fine!
( as the both were leaving, Mia bumps into two boys, who seem to have forgotten to say 'sorry' or 'excuse me'. Which of course, agitated Haru. And so of course, Haru would want to fight them, or at least scare them off. But he picked on the wrong people this time. )
Haru (agitated): Hey you! You bumped into my friend!
???: yeah.. so what..?
( Haru clenches his fists )
Haru (pissed): Aren't you going to say sorry?
???: why should i?
????: Kaito, i don't think you should get into a fight right now, we still have to look for a HaruKa Mitsuka. Which i'm guessing you'll fight.
Haru (nervous): Your looking for HaruKa Mitsuka..?
Kaito: Yes. Do you have any info on him?
Haru (really nervous): N-nope! Come on Mia, let's get home
???? (suspicious): Are you sure? You seem nervous
Haru (hiding his face even more): I'm fine sir.
( Haru tries to walk away with Mia, but the wind blows his hood off. Kaito and his brother, soon realize that the stranger they've stopped is the exact person they were searching for. )
Kaito: Saki, it's him.
Saki: yup!
( the two pull their weapons out )
Saki: Lets go!
( Haru's narration )
After we fought, Mia and I were captured by bounty hunters, Kaito and Saki. Mia and I were both separated after their meeting, I was sent to the Philippines with Kaito, and Mia stayed with Saki in Canada. Anyways, I was taken to this gated house, with a sign on the gate saying
' 데스 시티 ' , I didn't really understand since i didn't know the language.
( Kaito pulls Haru by a chain, well, until he got tired )
Kaito (tired): Hey. Don't run okay.
Haru: Huh? Why?
Kaito: I'm tired of pulling the chain..
Haru (sigh): Where would i go if i ran though.
Kaito: i'm just making sure.
( Kaito unchains Haru )
Haru (stretching): where are we anyway?
Kaito (annoyed): Death City, can't you read?
Haru (also annoyed): well i can't read that language.
( the both argue with eachother until they reach the door )
??? (intimidatingly): 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗴𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲?
Kaito: oh. Hey 20
20 (normal): oh hey Kaito! Welcome back! Who's this?
Kaito: his name is HaruKa-
Haru: it's Haru, nice to meet you 20
20: wowie! He knows my name!
Kaito: will you please let us in, i'm really tired..
20: oh yeah, sorry for the long greeting
Kaito: it's fine.
( both go inside of the house. The house is full of different kinds of people, like a man who's drinking tea and reading the daily newspaper seated by a small circular table, and a rather young looking boy whose kneeling by a small desk sketching flowers onto his sketch pad. There were two more guys that also looked strange, but it didn't really matter to Haru, since he himself was strange )
( Kaito and Haru kneel next to the young boy whose sketching )
Kaito: Hey Hero, i've brought him.
Hero (looking up at Kaito): Well isn't that nice.
( Hero soon faces Haru )
Hero (gentle smile): Hello there, My name is Hero Alcala, and yours?
Haru (nervous): It's Haru, HaruKa Mitsuka
Hero ( gentle tone): ah, there's no need to be nervous Haru. Anyways, it's nice to meet you
Haru (less nervous): You too.. uhm.. Can i ask you some questions..?
Hero: Sure, as much as you want
( Hero continues sketching as he listens )
Haru: What is this place?
Hero: Death city, or more known as the garden of sinners. I created this place to change the minds of villains, to stop them from doing such things. I started it after my mother and father died due to a villain attack in Quezon city. That's all i can tell you for now.
Haru: Okay.. What country is this?
Hero: Easy, Philippines, Asia
Haru: How old are you?
( Hero looks at Haru )
Hero: Do you really want to know?
Haru (hesitant): uh, yes.
( Hero sighs then starts painting his sketch )
Hero: Go tell him Kaito.
Kaito: Hero is 12 years old, but that doesn't mean you should underestimate him. He is our leader of course.. And i don't think we'll let you touch him.
Haru: Alright then.
( Hero stands up with the painting in hand )
Hero: Hey Val! Can you get me a frame please! I just painted something truly beautiful!
Val: Comin' right up Boss!
Hero (smile): thanks!
Haru (surprised): Your done already?!
Hero (happily): Hm? Yeah, after all, it was just a simple painting of the flowers in our garden, and it'll be nice to hang up to see~!
Haru: Alrighty then.
Hero: Kaito, since your sharing a room with him-
Kaito (surprised): I'M SHARING A ROOM WITH HIM?!?
Hero: Yes. Now please, show him where he'll be staying, he must be tired, and you must be too.
( Kaito sighs )
Kaito: Okay Hero. Come on Pastel.
Haru (annoyed): I have a name you know.
Kaito: Does it look like I care?
( the both argue some more before leaving )
