          Blood Suckers

                    As soon as I opened the metal door, I saw Mars with the DNA recognizer on his hands. I ran to him 'cause I knew this was something important. He wouldn't have called me like that if it wasn't.

                              "Massacre?" agad kong tanong.

                              "No." naka-focus pa rin siya sa screen ng DNA recognizer na nakasuot sa kanya na parang relos. (A/N: Imagine n'yo, parang Omnitrix. xD) "As I have said, they're probably from Mirage. That's what the Intel said, and that's what I believe, as well. Look at them," sabay turo sa mga bangkay na nakakalat sa floor. Karamihan may mga members ng SCAR Intel na pinag-iimbestigahan na yung lugar.

                    Hindi na masyadong pamilyar sa 'kin yung mga bangkay--not because I just don't know them, but because they're skin was so dry and white that I couldn't recognize them anymore. Tuyot na tuyot talaga yung victims at maraming mga nakadilat pa.

                    On the contrary, basang-basa dugo yung lapag.

                              I checked one of the bodies lying near us. "What happened?"

                              "Sucked all of the blood out of the bodies," simpleng sagot ni Mars.

                              "Blood?" Naka-gloves naman na 'ko kaya pwede ko nang hawakan yung katawan ng victim. Chineck ko yung body. Wala na ngang dugo kahit konti, pero bakit naman nila iiwan yung blood puddles dito sa building kung dugo ang pakay nila dito? Hindi ba dapat sinamantala na nila't inubos yung dugo, para din walang evidence masyado?

                              "Mm. And you know what we think attacked them?"

                    Blood. Only one thing came to mind.

                              "Vampires."

                              Tumango si Mars. "Mirage lang ang possible na responsible para dito." I didn't know they existed in Zone Seven, pero Mirage 'to, anything could happen.

                              "But, sir, ano naman ang koneksyon ng case sa 'kin? I thought it was about--"

                              "It is about him, Rook." Nag-hand gesture siya na nagsasabing lumapit ako sa kanya, so I did. "Take a look at this."

                    Nagpatak ng dugo si Mars na galing sa isang maliit na blood puddle sa lapag at nilagay sa screen ng DNA Recognizer. Mabilis na in-absorb ng screen iyon at hinintay naming dal'wang may lumabas na info about the person who owns the DNA.

                    Nagpakita ng 'UNKNOWN' sign yung screen.

                              "TSK! BAKIT GANUN?"

                    Pa'no naman naging connected kay Dustin iyon? Unknown. Yeah, may possibility na si Dustin iyon, pero yung probability nu'n ay very slim. Besides, it's hard to look for someone like him. Dustin has always been good at hide and seek. Halos wala siyang amoy na naiiwan sa lugar na pinupuntahan niya. Ang hirap niyang pagpawisin. Kaya niyang mag-sneak.
