Chapter 7: Stage two...
(Your/Y/N's POV)

  Sendak clears his throat, catching my attention again. "Alright, feel free to pack some stuff you'll need. We leave tomorrow." He said and I nod in response. I start to back away from the open door to close it when suddenly a pruney hand slaps against it keeping it open.

  'Hagar.' I thought biting back my harsh scowl to the woman. "Is there something you need ma'am?" I ask her with a fake smile. She grins, "No, I just wanted to check if you really were awake. I'll take my leave." She walks away. 'She's planning something, I know it.' I thought aa I close the door.

  I walk back into the room and go to the sink to wash off the face mask. As I wash off my face I feel arms wrap around my waist, I turn around and punch the person in the face. I see it was Sendak, and my face dropped. "I'm so sorry!" I apologized full-heartedly cause I honestly felt bad.

  He held a hand over his nose, "It's alright I shouldn't have snuck up on you, but how did you punch that hard?" He spoke, his voice sounding weird due to him holding his nose. "From what I can remember, I used to train with someone. They taught me a lot of my fighting techniques." I smiled as I offered him a hand to help him up.

  'I don't know why, but I do feel genuinely sorry that I punched him.' I thought you myself. He took my hand and got up. "I see, maybe you learned from your brother then. Don't let Zarkon know I told you this but he never really cared enough of his children to teach them self defense." He pointed out removing his hand from his nose.

  "Wow, he sounds like a terrible father." I said in a low tone. "Well he is, you more than likely don't know but Lotor or rather your brother was banished from the empire while you were in a comma." He informed me as he led me out of the bathroom and to the bed. My eyes widened, "Are you serious?! Why?!" My voice got louder as I acted concerned. "Simple, he refused to destroy the planet he was meant to colonize." He sat on the bed and I sat next to him.

  "Jeeze, so Lotor is a decent person but got banished for not being an asshole like Zarkon." I said aloud to which Sendak laughed. "Exactly! It's wrong! Well, anyways I should let you rest. I'll see you on the ship tomorrow morning." nodded and watched him leave.

  I sighed, and flopped backwards, knowing i'd have to load my stuff onto the ship when everyone was asleep. I got up and grabbed my crown placing it on my head before going into the closet and grabbing the three bags I have packed. I put the duffle bag strap over my shoulder and put the backpack on the flat top of the suitcase after extending the handle. I went over to my night stand and grab my phone and headphones. I walked towards my room door and it opened as I got close.

  I got out of the room, the suitcase and backpack following close behind me. I went to where I assumed Sendak's ship was docked since there was a sign that literally said 'Commander Sendak's ship' next to the doorway. I walk in and see a group of four guards blocking my entrance to the ship. I sigh and walk up to them.

  The four bow to me, "What do you need princess?" One speaks up. "I'm going with my fiance on his rounds, let me through some I can put my stuff in my room aboard the ship." I snarl at them forcing them to get out of my way as I walk into the ship.

  I walk towards where the bedrooms were held and took the room closest to the escape pods. I put my bags in there and layed on the bed. 'This isn't as comfortable as the bed in the other room, but it'll do.' I thought as I grab my phone and headphones putting them in and playing the lullaby from earlier. I got somewhat comfortable in the bed and went to sleep.

(In your dream)

  The white lion stood in front of me before it started talking. "You've done well so far, but we can't get out hopes up for now. Once we're out of the ship and with Voltron we'll be safe from Zarkon." The lion explained. "May I ask a question other than this one?" I said as I sat down of the floor. The lion nodded in agreement.

  "What exactly are you? You aren't a robot from what I can tell and it seems like your a spirit." I ask. The lion smiles, "Well you are partially correct there Y/N. You see I am a spirit but I'm also a guardian. I guard the sacred space of Oriond, the home of all Altean alchamey." The lion told me which made me smile. "I see, thank you for letting me ask you." The lion nodded before roaring. "If you wish you can ask me more questions, but only until you have to wake up." I nod in agreement as I started thinking of questions.

'Stage Two...complete'
