Chapter 10: The Escape
(Your/Y/N's POV)

As I open my eyes I yawn and sit up. I rub my eyes and feel arms wrapped around my waist. I look down to see Viarrah hugging my waist with tear stains on her cheeks. I pet her head gently, "Viarrah, you need to wake up." I whisper just loud enough for her to hear but not loud enough to startle her.

Her eyes flutter open then she jumps back. "Ah! I'm sorry!" she apologizes. I wave my hand in a dismissive way, "It's alright! I don't mind, you had a nightmare no?" I ask. She nods, "I don't want to talk about it though." I nod at her. "I won't force you don't worry, but we have to get ready for today." I say as I stood up as d stretched.

She hums in agreement and goes to her duffle bag and grabs the under suit for her armor. She grabs her armor as well and walks to the bathroom. "Let me know when I can come out." She said as she closed the door.

I went to my suitcase and grabbed my white undersuit, and my armor. I got dressed quickly and grabbed my hair brush from my duffle bag. "Come on out." I say plainly as I brush my hair. The bathroom door opens and she has her night outfit in her hands along with the med kit.

I finished brushing my hair and shoved the brush back into the bag. "Sit on the bed, I want to check your wound." She orders me. I nod, and do as asked, I hiss as she starts to remove the tape and gauze from my face. "Stay still." she demands and I try my best not to flinch or move at all.

Her eyes widened when she saw the wound, "What? Is something wrong?" I asked in a panic, "Do you normally heal fast?" She asks. I shake my head no, "Well, you did this time." She said as she takes her hands away from the eye. My eye widens at the news and I sit up quickly, go into the bathroom and look in the mirror.

"My gods..." I gasp as the only thing left from yesterdays wound was a pure white scar in it's place. I reach my hand up to touch it and it feels like normal skin. "Did you do this?" I try asking the lion and all I get was a loud roar that wasn't coming from my head. I snap my head around.

"What was that?!" I ask Viarrah, "Voltron is attacking Sendak's ship! Nows our time to get off the ship!" She has a smile plastered over her face. I smile aswell and out my helmet on. "Can you grab the duffles while I take the suitcase and backpack?" I ask grabbing the suitcase handle, she nods and grabs both duffle bags.

I grab the med kit before we leave the room and she follows behind me. "Come on! We're almost at the pod!" I state and she nods and starts running faster and I do the same. I see the pod and run at my full speed, I am a pytreolycus after all we are very fast. Viarrah is still running and I see some guards behind her, "Hurry V!" I pointed to the guards and she started running faster. When she got in I closed the pod doors and saw the soilders frantically beating at the door.

I drop the suitcase handle and run to the pilots chair, "Can you co-pilot for me?" I ask as I start up the pod. She nods and starts doing the same as me. We look at each other and nod before we get launched out of pod bay. I take hold of the wheel and steer us around the fight and explosions.

"Look! There's a planet!" Viarrah pointed out a planet that was close enough for us to get to. I nod and started heading in the direction of the planet. As the pod breaks the atmosphere we see a large white and blue castle. "We made it V." I said looking at her for a second before putting me attention back to steering us towards the castle.

All of a sudden a hailing frequency opens up, "Hailing unidentified Galran pod, state your business!" I see a man with ginger hair and a fabulous mustache, "V, open a hailing frequency to the castle." I order the nods and puts it up, "We aren't here to hurt you, we just got off the ship. The person piloting needed to get to Voltron." Viarrah tells the fabulous ginger.

"Your in galran armor though! This could be a set up!" he points out, I take over the call. "Don't worry about that for now! We need a place to land, if you need our identities then here." I show him my face, "My name is (Y/N) (L/N), one of the last pytreolycus' alive. Also, please give us an area to land." I state. The man's eye grew wide and he types something in, when he finished typing I see a large door opening and fly to it preparing to land.

I let out a sign of relief as I landed the craft, I hear a loud explosion out in the distance and turn to see Voltron absolutely desimating Sendak's ship. I smile at the site. "He got what he deserves." Viarrah states. I unbuckled my seat belt and stood up and V did the same. "We should leave the bags in here for now." Viarrah suggests and I agree.

As I open the pod door I can see two people with their guns ready to fire, a person with a sword ready to fight, a small girl with a dagger ready to attack, and the champion with his arm glowing. I sigh, "We aren't here to cause harm." I say with my hands up and V mimicks my movements.

"Why are you here?! Why is the other girl in a galran uniform?!" The guy with a sword asks. "We're here to help, plus she was undercover as my guard so she kinda needed armor." I pointed to V who started blushing from the attention. I smile and step forward once before seeing a blue laser go by my head. My eyes widened and I removed my helmet. "So that's how it is?" I ask with a sigh.

"I doubt she can even fight." The swordsman states making me grin. My wings start to be taken over by black, I turned around and walked to my backpack. I grabbed the sword handle. My eyes started to burn a bit, I turn towards the red swordsman and raise my sword to point at him. "Try me swordsman." I smirk and he does the same.

He charges at me, but I block him. "Not here, somewhere else so nobody else gets hurt." I say pointing to the group of people who are watching. He nods and motionz for me to follow him.

(Small time skip)

He leads me to a training deck, and walks into the large room. I spread my wings as I enter the room. "You ready to lose swordsman?" I smirk as I got into a good position to fight. He smirks back at me, "You bet furry." I chuckle at the name. "Then let's begin." I say with a smile.
