Chapter 6

Elysium

"Hades!" Si Hades ay isa sa mga nakatrabaho ko noon sa restaurant. Waitress ako habang waiter naman sya.

"Long time no see." sabi naman niya. Nginitian nya ako at nag-wave.

I always find him weird. May kakaibang aura sya na hindi ko maipaliwanag.

He's my co-worker for just a week. He said that he cannot serve humans like that when he is the king of the underworld. Hindi raw sya serbedor dahil sya raw ang dapat hainan at pagsilbihan.

At dahil doon, he got terminated.

No one knows where he lives. No one knows what his real name is. We just call him by his name, Hades.

Hindi ko rin mawari kung bakit sya tinanggap ng may-ari gayong wala naman siyang maipakitang identification o kahit na anong pagkakakilanlan. Well, maybe because he has good looks? Amazing body?

"I always wonder why you always look like this." sabi niya in a very weird accent. It's beautiful to hear but it's really weird, hindi pa ako nakarinig ng ganoong accent ng English.

"What do you mean?" Hindi kami masyadong nag-uusap noon dahil nga sa oras ng shift ko at marami akong trabaho. Umaalis ako agad pagkatapos ng shift

"You always look like an angel. You must have fallen from there." sabi nya habang tinuturo ang kalangitan. Hindi ko rin maintindihan kung bakit sinasakyan ko ang trip nya. Maybe because I forgot about my problems whenever I talked to him. Nawawala sa isip ko saglit ang mga problemang pinagdadaanan ko.

I just smiled while I also looked at the morning blue sky. "What is your sin?" tanong nya.

I chuckled. I have too many sins, you'll lose count of them all.

"Nope. I know all of your sins." he looked at me and I gasped as I saw his black eyes turned grey.

"A-Anong nangyayari sa mata mo?" napahawak ako sa railing ng cliff kung nasaan kami ngayon. Nagpunta kasi ako dito para makapag-isip-isip.

Hindi kasi ako makatulog sa ginawa ko at ginawa ng reaper na yon kahapon!

Hindi ako makapaniwalang hinalikan ko sya at hinalikan rin naman nya ako.

I blushed as I remember that amazing moment.

Hades snorted beside me, "I always found you exciting. You are one of a kind. Are all humans the same?" Ano bang pinagsasasabi nito?

Palagi na lang niyang pinaninindigan na siya yung Greek God na si Hades na king of the Underworld. He always said that he is the King of Elysium. He keeps the souls in there, surrounded by a black sea named the River Styx. That river keeps the soul from returning to the land of the living.

I wonder how he knows so much of the underworld, maybe he's into Mythology, hence his name; Hades.

"And why would you say that?" I looked at him, his eyes were now black and sparkly.

"You're easily overwhelmed even when you are just thinking of kissing Salazar." he said casually.

What in the hell did I just hear?

"Hell? Lucifer rules Hell. He's a higher up. He's the first fallen angel."

"How can you read my mind? Are you a mind-reader? And who is this Salazar? Fuck. Are you a ghost, Hades?"

"Simply because I'm Hades. Salazar is the grim reaper. Have you kissed other man besides him, Almira?" he leans down to come face to face with me. He's so tall. And charming.

But the grim reaper's face is much more handsome.

Why am I comparing them?

Hades smirked. He likes teasing me.

"I'm going home." sabi ko saka tumalikod na sa kanya, "See you when I see you."

"Wait!"

"Ow!" he holds my arm and it fucking burned. Tinignan ko ang braso kong hinawakan nya pero hindi naman ito namumula o kahit na ano sa balat ko. Bakit sobrang init ng kamay niya? Hinawakan ko ang railing na nakabilad sa araw. Maybe his hands are hot because he's been holding this railing for too long.

"I have nowhere to go." he said. I can't read his eyes.

I looked at him, confused. Wala ba siyang bahay? Walang kamag-anak?

"Actually, I do have a home. But I'm on vacation! And I can't get myself a home here on Earth because I need some of fucking mortal's money before I get myself a nice cottage and food to eat."

"Can you please stop the act, Hades? You're not the God who rules the underworld. Stop being delusional. And--" I was cut mid-sentence when I saw his eyes flash the color of grey again!

"What's wrong with your eyes?" I asked, still confused to why his eye color changed like that?

"Λέω την αλήθεια, ανθρώπινη." (I am telling the truth, human.) Hades said. I never understand what he said but there's something about him that make me shut my mouth.

"Back to what I'm saying, you have to give me what I want. Obey me." The nerves ha. Obey him daw.

"Me?" I pointed my self, "Obey you?" I laughed my ass out until tears are coming out of the corner of my eyes.

Hades shrugged when I stopped laughing. "So tell me, where's your house?"
