Chapter 7

Hades

Back in the olden days, Hades was so bored he often called his kingdom; BOREDOM.

He just stared at the sinners' souls as they pleaded him and Lucifer to get them out of the dark and they will repent their sins up there in the Paradise of Eden in Heaven. They all want to go up in Heaven. They all expected to get their disgusting souls up there.

The human sinners and the supernatural sinners are separated. Most of the human souls are corrupt politicians, wealthy and abusive men and women, mafias, murderers, and many more.

Supernatural sinners are mostly werewolves, vampires, witches, monsters, mermaids and merman, fairies, and etc.

Those sinners who can't repent and get over of their unpleasant mortal life are being punished down there in the Kingdom of Elysium.

But those who accepted their sins are working in the Kingdom of Tartarus where Lucifer resides and rule.

Lucifer is the ruler of Hell. Hades is his best warrior so that he gave Hades the governance of Elysium.

Lucifer punishes the evil.

Hades kept the evil's soul in Elysium and tortures them to death
(pun intended).

Hades rule the kingdom of Elysium with Adrestia. The daughter of Ares and Aphrodite. The Goddess of revolt and balance of good and evil.

She was there along with her moody dad Ares but her mum Aphrodite wasn't there. She is somewhere in Pludospea--the neutral realm where the neutral alignment, sometimes known as true neutral, is without prejudice or compulsion. They either disregard any commitment to good, evil, law and chaos, or believe a balance is needed between these forces in the world.

That's where the reapers reside, in Pludospea.

Hades became a waiter not because he wanted to serve the mortals, but because he needs some useless cash to buy something. In Elysium, you don't need money. He's not prepared for this kind of vacation, so he went back after a week in Earth back to Hell.

Back then, he decided that he wants to go to the mortal's world. He brings back his youthful appearance--thinking it's the best age to have fun there.

Then he met Almira. She was also a waitress and they became not like acquaintances but more like friends.

He's weird. Almira sees him more like a seven year old than an adult twenty-seven he was. He doesn't know how to wash the dishes. He doesn't know how to serve people. He was always on a fight with customers. He doesn't know manual labor. He doesn't know technology. He's more like an ermitanyo. A hermit.

Now back to Hades and his current situation...

"I'm sorry Hades, but I can't take you with me in our home," Almira said. Their house is so tiny, Hades might get his skull cracked because of the low ceiling considering his tall height. The apartment's bedroom is so tiny it can only occupy her mother, Oyo, and Almira. They're literally like sardines in a can.

"I can make your house bigger," he said as if he read what's on her mind.

She laughed, "Oh, so you have super powers now? Like magic?"

"Kind of," Hades shrugged. "Would you like to see invisibility first?" he continued.

"Are you fucking with me? And don't you speak Tagalog?" actually, she feels like her nose is bleeding because of talking to him.

"As you can see, we..." he said pointing to Almira and himself, "are not having sex right now, BUT we might be one day or in the future it's a shame I can't bring my brother Apollo with his ability to see your future, but you know, we can do it once we go home." Almira's mouth fell open with what he just said. She didn't expect that answer. "Oh, and I can speak a bit of Tagalog, but I'm more fluent in English."

She held her hand on her forehead. She felt like her head is hurting more and more when she keeps talking to Hades. "Hades, I know we've been friends but, you know what the people in our street might think. And what will my mother think if I went home with a man who wants to sleep in our house? People may jump into conclusions. I can't afford to have more problems with the amount of problems I have right now. I'm so sorry. You can book a hotel room if you want. Or just go home, Hades. I have to go."

"Almira, can you look into my eyes?" Hades said, using compulsion as his last resort. He just want to have some fun. And he wants to have fun with Almira.

She rolled her eyes. Hades is such a pain in the ass. She looked at him by the way.

"I know this is Lucifer's line but I can borrow it just this once." She saw his black irises turned grey then flare with purple fire. Is that even possible? "So tell me, what is it that you desire?"
