your pov
While watching the movie with Mike. I kept hearing rustling surrounding us. When we went to bed, I heard it as well. It was preventing me from falling asleep. I went to the kitchen, grabbing a steak knife and my jacket before heading outside. I know this was stupid, but when you're scared, you don't think properly. I kept seeing a shadow, I walk farther out into the yard. I saw something in a nearby tree. I ran to the tree. And there was a hole in it. Once again, I knew it was stupid, but I crawled in the hole and out the other side. When I got to the other side, I noticed it wasn't Hawkins. Well, it was, but not really. I'm in the Upside Down. I thought. I turn back around to go back through the hole. But it was closed up. "Fuck!" I gasp. Looking around for an escape route. I must've dropped my coat on the way in. I need it though it's freezing. I walked around, not seeing anything else with me. I walked so far I ended up making it to school. "Hello?" I call out. "Hello!" I repeat. I got no reply.

I had finished watching Mike. He was talking about y/n and how she was missing. I decided I would look for her. So I did. She was in the Upside Down. I had to tell Hopper. "Hopper," I exclaim. "What is it?" He asks. "Y/n, she's in the Upside Down. She's at the school," I blurt. His eyes widen. "Okay, you stay here. I'm gonna go there and get her out!" he demands. He runs out of the house, locking me inside.
Hopper's pov
When I made it to the school, I sprinted to where El said she came from. When I reached the spot, thankfully, the entrance was still there. "Y/n!" I shout.

I heard my name being called. "Hello?" I call out. "Y/n! It's me! It's Hopper!" Hopper yells. "Hopper!" I cry. "Yeah. Follow my voice. I'll get you outta there!" He shouted. I did as told, following his voice to an entrance. I run out as quick as possible. Hugging him tightly. "I'm gonna take you back to my house. You're not gonna like what I have to tell you, but it's the only way," he explains. I nod.

"So, Eleven has been in hiding all this time?" I ask, my hair wet from the shower I just took. "Yes. And here's the bad news... You're gonna have to stay here, too," He exclaims. "What! But the bad men aren't looking for me!" I shout. "I know. I know! But, you know, and I can't trust you that you won't spill anything. Plus, you've been in the Upside Down, which means you know their secrets," Hopper explains. "I won't tell anyone! I swear!" I beg. "I know you won't. But if the Lab finds out you've been in the Upside Down, I can't promise that they won't give you some truth drug, and then you end up telling them everything," He adds. "What about Mike o--or Steve? They're probably worried sick!" I cry. "I'm sure they are. But for right now, you don't exist! Do you understand? Say you understand!" He shouts. "I understand! I understand!" I cry. "Great. There are fresh clothes in your and El's room," he explains. I nod, trudging into the room and over to my bed (outfit at the top).
