"Y/n," Mike sighed, stepping closer to me. "Mike," I sniffle as he embraces me in a hug. Even though I was gone for at least two weeks (just go widdit), it felt like years since I last saw everyone. "I never gave up on you. Everyone told me you were dead, but I never stopped looking," He cried. "I know. I-I heard," I exclaim. "Why didn't you tell me you were there? That you were still alive?" He asked. "Because I wouldn't let her," Hopper blurt. "The hell is this? I told you to stay in the house," he scolded. "Everyone was gone, I--I was scared, Hop," I explained. "You've been hiding her. You've been hiding her this whole time!" Mike shouts, pushing Hop. "Hey! Let's talk. Alone." Hopper demanded.
Just wait till Mike finds out he's been hiding El, too.
Mike's pov
"Protecting her! Protecting her?" I yell as Hopper walks me into a separate room. "Listen. Listen to me. The more people know where she's been, the more danger she and El are in. And the more danger you and your family are in--" Hopper began. "You've been hiding El, too! So I should be thanking you?" I shout. "I'm not asking you to thank me! I'm asking you to try to understand," Hopper added. "I don't! I don't understand!" I yell. "That's fine. That's fine! Just do not blame her! All right? She's upset enough as it is," Hopper pleads. "I don't blame her! I blame you! I blame you!" I scream. "That's okay, kid. That's okay," He scoffs. "No! Nothing about this is okay! Nothing about this is okay!" I spit, pushing Hopper. "Oh, jeez," he exclaims. "You're a stupid, disgusting, lying piece of shit!" I croak, punching him in the stomach repeatedly. "Okay. All right! Stop it," he demands. "Liar! Liar! Liar!" I scream, continuing to punch him. "Stop it. It's okay," He exclaims, pulling me into a hug. "Liar. Liar," I cry. "You're okay, kid. You're okay," he reassures me. "I'm sorry, kid," he mumbles as I continue to cry.

"We missed you," Lucas exclaims. "I missed you guys, too. Hey, sorry, Halloween turned out so shitty," I smile softly. "It's all good. We got you back, that's all that matters," Dustin explains. "We talked about you pretty much every day. Well, mostly Mike," Dustin adds. "Y/n?" Max calls. I look up at her. "Hey, Max," I smile. "Hey, it's good to have you back. I uh... I was hoping we could hang out sometime. It'd be nice to have a female friend," Max laughs. "That it would," I laugh as well.
I walk over to Joyce. "Hey. Hey, sweetheart. Hey," She sighs. "Is he okay?" I ask, referring to Will. She takes me to him. "He's not doing well," she explains. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for him," I cry. "That is not your fault, y/n," she reassures me, rubbing my back. In the living room, I heard Lucas and Dustin shout, "El!" I look up, running out to the living room. "Eleven!" I exclaimed, running over to her and embracing her in a hug. "Where--where did you go?" I ask. "sister," She explains. I nod, remembering the files I had found left on the ground. El left us and walked with Mrs. Byers. I walked over to Steve.
"Hey, stupid," I chuckle. "God, I missed you," he sniffled, embracing me in a hug. "Why aren't you talking with Nancy?" I ask. "Well, I may have been a shitty boyfriend, but turns out I'm actually a pretty damn good babysitter," he admits. "I have no clue what that means but, okay, buddy," I laugh.
"It's not like it was before. It's grown. A lot. And, I mean, that's considering we can get in there. The place is crawling with those dogs," Hopper begins. "Demo-dogs," Dustin corrects. "I'm sorry, what?" Hopper asked. "I said, uh, Demo-dogs. Like Demogorgon and dogs. You put them together, it sounds pretty badass--" Dustin starts. "How is this important right now?" Hopper quizzes. "It's not. I'm sorry," Dustin mumbles. "I can do it," El blurt. "You're not hearing me," Hopper continues. "I'm hearing you. I can do it," El explains. "Even if El can, there's still another problem. If the brain dies, the body dies," Mike adds. "I thought that was the whole point?" Max asks. "It is, but if we're really right about this... I mean, if El closes the gates and kills the mind flayer's army..." Mike starts. "Will's a part of that army," I follow. "Closing the gate will kill him," Mike continues.
