Mike had been stupid enough to fake out his mom by riding around the blocks a couple of times, I, being someone with a good moral compass and common sense told him it was a stupid idea. We parted ways as Mike went back to his house and I arrived at school.
As I walked into Mr. Clarke's class, late, I handed Mr. Clarke my tardy slip and went to my seat next to Lucas. "hey, you slept over at mikes right?" Lucas whispers to me, I nod in return. "so where is he? did he get rid of the freak?" Lucas asks. "he's pretending to be home sick so he can stay with her, and that isn't even the worst part, the worst part is, he faked his mom out!" I whisper yell, almost a little too loud. "he might be crazier than her!" Lucas exclaims as Dustin rolls his eyes. "Oh, if Mrs. wheeler tells my parents..." Dustin groans.
"no way, mike would never rat us out, right y/n?" Lucas asks me. "I don't know," I reply hesitantly, "all that matters is, after school, the freak will be back in the loony bin, and we can focus on what really matters, finding Will," Lucas exclaims
