"Mike the campaign doesn't start till a couple of hours, I don't understand why I had to come over so early," I groan as Mike and I eat the eggos Mrs. Wheeler prepared for us. "Do you seriously not remember?" Mike asks, "remember what?" I follow. "we need to discuss your new role!" he exclaims like its obvious. "right, well, let's do it now," I reply, and he nods.

"Since I'm the Dungeon Master, Will is the magic-user, Lucas the knight, and Dustin, the dwarf. What are you gonna be?" Mike asks, "How about the rogue?" I ask, Mike hums to himself before coming to a decision, "okay, your in!" he exclaims as I clap.

 "What time is Steve picking you up?" Mike asks, "if he even remembers, you mean," I reply, "but in the rare case he does, probably when the boys leave, why?" I ask. "I thought maybe you could spend the night," Mike suggests. I chuckle, "yeah, if your mom will even allow that."
"Well, why wouldn't she. She knows I wouldn't do anything with you," Mike retorts, making my face drop, "right, of course," I frown. "Hey, Mike, I think I'm gonna go hang out with nancy for a while if that's okay."
"Really? Okay," Mike sighs as I run upstairs.

I knock on Nancy's door until I get the okay to come in. "Nancy, I need help," I sigh as I sit on her bed. "Okay, with what?" she asks, turning to me. "What would you do if the boy you like finds you repulsive," I ask, keeping my eyes on my hands. "Well, whoever this boy is, is a complete douche. But, I would be myself, take it slow, y' know, become friends first, then If you feel this spark, it'll come naturally. So who is this boy?" she asks. "Well, he's at the house a lot, he's my best friend, my first friend actually and his sister is really cool," I exclaimed, forgetting how obvious I made it. Nancy chuckles to herself, "I see. Now, go have fun!" She exclaims, shooing me off.
