Andy^
Mr D'Amodice's POVMy son was missing. The boy had somehow gone and got himself captured by the last Matsa. I knew because he'd been missing for the last three days and no matter how much he hated the family, he always came back.
So, as my best was gone, even though the child had been off of his game recently, I'd have to use the other one.
James' older brother was a travesty. He always wanted to please me, from the day he was born. Always asking for my approval, always being the first to volunteer for missions or raids.
He was tragic, the only reason I kept him in the family was because Martha claimed he was mine. They were both the reason I was forced to pursue James' mother, and once as he grew, I wasn't disappointed. He had... fire, passion, I saw an heir in his eyes.
I watched as he bested his brother time and time again. I watched as the elder began to resent the younger for his talents and my time.
But now James has gone missing, and the other one believed he could take his place, even trying to claim he was an assassin. One of my men caught him kissing his floozie in the hallways, as if it were normal, they thought they were being discrete, there's no such thing as discrete with my children. I wondered if I should teach the boy a lesson but decide against it, it would only make my son more annoying.
I could just stop the nonsense, I had James' location, never had that boy gone anywhere I was unaware of.
I was worried that the boy in from that dreadful little café was the one distracting him from his future, but it became apparent that my son only went there when his case had gone cold, he needed the company.
I decided I'd leave him with the Matsa boy for few more days, teach him to plan more diligently.

Rye's POVI held my boy in my arms, sniffing his hair as it his head only came up to my chin.
'Andy?' I called out. He replied with a hum, making me smile.
'Do you think Harper's okay?' Everyone, including my brother, thought that I hated him, but I loved him. He was family. The truth was, I was jealous of him, Father like him more than me. However, I pretended to hate him for his own safety.
Mafias aren't the safest places, but a Mafia led by my father...
Father thought I was stupid, and blinded my my jealousy, but I saw more than most. He was a cruel, evil man and so didn't care about anyone but himself. Not his men, not his wife, not his sons.
'I'm sure he's fine,' Andy replied after some time, ' I've never met him but he sounds like he can handle himself, and your dad won't let him stay out for long.'
I nodded along as he spoke, Andy was my sanity, the voice of reason. If It weren't for him and the fact that I had to stay home to keep up the pretense. I had lul father into a false sense of security before my plan could be a carried out.
I just hoped my brother was okay, he was the best of the best, he had to be okay.
I felt the blonde boy slowly relax in my arms, a sign he was falling asleep and so I picked him up and put him to bed before climbing in next to him. He was the best thing to ever happen to me.
A/N This book has me really excitedddddd and um yh, sorry for the short chapter but I'll make it up. Byeeeee.
