~ Chapter 8 ~

~ Midoriya POV ~

I quickly got up grabbing the shopping bags a slowly walked towards the Shoe store. Did I do something? Why was she blushing? I continued to ask myself question after question trying to decipher Uraraka's expression. I shook my head in defeat and walked into the Shoe store looking for the two girls. I found them rather quickly since Eri ran towards me wanting me opinion.

"Dad! Red or Purple!", she stated

I looked at the two sneakers and smiled, "Which ever one you want!"

Eri looked at me and looked down to my shoes then looked up.

"Red it is!", Eri then walked back to Uraraka and they both started looking for the right size for Eri.

I smiled at both of them with a question still longing in my mind. I'll ask later. I walked to them both and started helping as well. Uraraka seemed to back to normal with no bright red color on her cheeks. After a few minutes we found Eri's shoe size and an hour later we walked out of the store like 4 pairs of shoes.

"Hey, do you gal want to eat before we head back?"

Eri smiled, "Yes!!! Mina told me about different types of food and J want to try them all!!!"

Uraraka turned to face me with a smirk plastered on her face, "gals?"

I blushed lightly a smiled,"Yeah...?"

Uraraka started to giggle with Eri following after her.

"Okay pal!" Uraraka responded while hitting my shoulder.

"CANDY APPLE!"

We both turned to see Eri pointing at a big candy apple display in front of a sweets store. Everyone around us started to whisper and some started to giggle. Uraraka Eri and I probably look like a cute small family huh.

Uraraka turned to me with a slight blush,"We probably look like a couple especially with Eri huh?"

I looked at her a blinked with surprise. She's blushing again, it might be because she is embrassed but.... I paused and looked at Uraraka again then I looked at Eri who was starting at the candy apple with her eyes sparking. I want this happiness. Maybe just maybe... I smiled as Uraraka's face gradually got red. Maybe Uraraka like me too. Be Brave Midoriya! You'll never know if you don't try!
With my heart pounding rapidly, my palms getting sweaty, and my face heating up I grabbed down for Uraraka's hand with nervousness.

~ Ochaco POV ~ (random sorry) ╮(＞﹏＜)╭

I watched as Midoriya just stared at me. OH NO! I was just trying to lighten up the atmosphere!!! I shouldn't have said that especially with the cashier situations and now this crowd... A couple, yeah right! Midoriya would never think of me in that way. Ochaco what did you do!!!

I felt a hand reach out to mine and I looked up to see Deku smiling at me. His face was pink and I could tell he was nervous but he looked cute.

"Do y-you want s-something s-sweet as well?" He said with a stutter.

My heart pounded with how cute he was as he was trying to sound cool. Deku you're the sweet cinnamon roll I want. DID I SERIOUSLY JUST THINK THAT!!! What is this boy doing to me!!!

"S-sure"

I grasped onto Deku's hand and dragged him to where Eri was.

Eri dragged us inside the store, ran up to the cashier a said with excitement, "One delicious candy apple please!!!"
