"Please....I don't know how you seem so excited about all this?" sighed Jihoon, "I'm dangerous Yuna. Has it ever crossed your mind that I might hurt you?"

Yuna shrugged, "I mean, you could, but when I look at you, I know you won't hurt me. You're still a human and you still have feelings. You just focus so much on your beasty side." She smiled. "And you know how I know?"

He looked up at her, "How?"

"Because you were the one who saved me from that car accident."

Jihoon's eyes widened, "How did you know that? You were unconscious. I'm usually very slick." He joked.

Yuna laughed, "I saw the glow of your eyes. That bright, green glow." She blushed.

"Well, you're welcome." He cleared his throat, "I just let anything happen to you."

"Awww does beasty have feelings?" She smirked. "I'm very grateful. You do seem like the very protective type."

"Type? I've always been like this. I basically raised myself, so I always had to be cautious."

Yuna looked at him a little confused, "What do you mean you raised yourself? I thought you lived with parents?"

"Yeah, but just because I live with them doesn't mean that they actually look after me. They only actually care for me when I threaten to kill myself because I can't accept what I am."  He sighed, " I hate what I am."

The moonlight shined bright upbove them. Yuna couldn't keep her eyes off of Jihoon. She didn't see a beast, but an innocent person who just wants to be like everyone else. Someone who wants to accept themself, but doesn't know how.

She took his hand and he slowly began to change back into his normal self. The glow in his eyes dimmed down.

"You're no beast to me Jihoon. You are now my friend which means that I'm gonna be here for you no matter. I got your back."

He chuckled, "I think it's supposed to be the other way around my friend. I mean, I already saved you once, which means I'll be able to do it again since you're always getting yourself into trouble." He smirked.

"Hey, that's a lie." Yuna scoffed, "I do not get in trouble all the time. It's not my fault I like to stand up for myself. Self defense you know?"

Fireflies glew all over the forest surrounding them with flashes of light. It felt like the perfect setting for a midnight stroll.

It all reminded Jihoon of how he grew up. The way he got used to his transformations every night his parents would take him deep into the woods near a lake and leave him there until he finished hunting and returned home.

"Hey, I wanna show you something." Jihoon stood up and took Yuna's hands helping her up. "There's this...place I have that I always go to when I wanna be alone. So basically all the time." He chuckled.

Yuna smiled, "Is this like your secret place?"

He nodded, "Yes, so you can't say anything about it. My parents don't even know about it."

"Yes, I got you. Your secret is safe with me." She motioned her finger over her lips closing her mouth shut.

"Look, it's right over here."

They followed down with the flow of the stream into a bunch of willow trees. Yuna admired the amazing landscape that it created. The moonlight made all the leaves and vines sparkle by all the misty rain drops.

"This is so beautiful."

Jihoon looked at her and smiled, "This is my favorite part of the forest. It's like a part of me. It's sacred."

He walked over to one of the willow trees and began to climb onto it. "Come on."

She followed him up the tree. When the made it up it was like a life size nest, but without all the little sticks. There was a hammock made of vines and thick leaves.

Flowers grew all over the edges of the branches giving it all some kind of color. It was a whole new world.

"This is like my second home you could say." Jihoon said as he walked around the tree. "I sleep here more than I sleep at home."

"I wouldn't blame you for that. I would live over here myself." Yuna admired every inch of the tree. "I love all of this."

Jihoon looked down and sighed, "There are times where I don't transform back in time for the early morning, so I just stay here becuase I don't want to be shown in public as a monster."

Yuna walked up to him and put her hand on his cheek, "You're not a monster. You never were."

His eyes started to glow again, but not because he was transforming, but because he felt something more. Jihoon had feelings for Yuna. His heart was racing. The warmth of her hand on his face felt so comforting.

Her smile was everything, "Even if you call yourself a monster I have something to tell you."

"What is it?"

"You're my monster."

Yuna put her other hand up to his face and kissed him. She was filled with butterflies in her stomach.

Jihoon is so much more than what he says he is. He's not dangerous and I know it. I felt a connection with him once I met him. He's special. He's perfect. My flutters when I see him. Those beautiful green eyes of his are everything. I think.....I think I'm in love with him.

Yes.....

I love you Jihoon...

I think I've always have.
