Ring...ring...ring.....

Even more ringing......

It became louder.

Felt like his ear drum was going to pop in any second.

"What the fuck is happening?" Jihoon whispered to himself tumbling around in his bed trying not to pay any kind of attention to the sound. He sat up on his bed shaking his head around, but the noise only became louder the more he moved. He screamed.

Footsteps rushed quickly to his room.

"What is it?" his mother asked catching her breath.

"THE RINGING WONT STOP!!" Jihoon shouted jumping out of his bed punching through the wall.

"What ringing? Is it getting louder?" asked his father.

"Yes! Why is this happening?" Jihoon shakes his head more. "It won't stop!"

"Stop moving and calm down. You're probably overthinking too much. Calm down!" his father grabs him by his arms and pulls him down on the ground. "Stop moving!"

Jihoon takes a few deep breaths and tries to calm down. "Ok, it's getting quiet. Why is this happening? Is there like something stuck in my ear? It sounded like a dog whistle dad. It was horrifying."

"Let me explain it to you." He takes Jihoon's hand and helps him up slowly. "Now sit down."

His mother sits on the other side of him. "It's happened to us before when we were your age Hoonie, and it took us a while to figure out what it meant." said his mother holding his hand.

"So, what does it mean?" Jihoon shrugged.

His father sighed, "It means that you've been thinking a lot about someone. Maybe someone you've grown feelings for?"

Jihoon curls his eyebrows in confusion. "How is that even possible? I don't even know anyone." he chuckles.

"Are you sure about that because if that were true this wouldn't be happening to you." his father raises an eyebrow.

"Dad, are you serious? Do you really think I would waste my time talking to people that I'll never relate to and are extremely slow? Come on, get real." he rolls his eyes.

"Well, did you meet anyone on the day you went to town, or when you went to school?" his mother asked tilting her head in curiosity.

"No, mom I didn't. You guys could leave now. Thanks for your useless help." he goes back to bed looking out his cracked window. They walk out of his room and close the door.

"Who the heck would I be thinking about? I don't know anyone. Wait.....it can't be. It can't be her. She's the only person whose talked to me." All these thoughts scrabbling all around his head. He didn't want to believe any of this, but at the same time he knew what it could be. Yuna.

Swiftly and quietly Jihoon puts on his jacket and grabs his backpack jumping out of his window. Taking the car is too loud and would blow his cover, so he walks all the way to the hospital to see Yuna. Night light dimmed the streets with little flicks from the old lightbulbs in them. Cars passed by him letting out cold air. He made it to the hospital, but it seemed really busy in the ER. There was no way for him to enter and ask a nurse where Yuna was.

Doctors and nurses were running everywhere because there were many patients coming in from a fire that occurred in a farm. Jihoon looked at one of the patients and realized it the farmer that he saw when he was feeding on one of the cows. He follows the doctors inside.

"Excuse me, do you know how the fire occurred?" he asked of the assistant nurses.

"I'm sorry, but I can't share that information with you unless you're part of the family." she walks away.

"Wait." he walks up to the front desk. "Can you tell me where this girl is? Um, her name is Yuna, but I don't know what her last name is. She was in a car accident early this morning. I was the one who saved her." he clears his throat.

"Oh yes, are you a friend of hers?" the nurse asks typing into her computer.

"Um, yes I am." he nods.

"She's in room 225B"

"Thank you." he walks to the elevator passing by a cart with blood samples in it. The scent is unbearable making it hard for him to resist. He takes deep breath, closes his eyes, and walks away.

The elevator beeps through each floor making it feel like an eternity to get to where he needed to be. Finally he was at the right floor. There were many doors in the hallway that it looked like a door maze. He quickly looked through each door. Yuna's door was the one all the way down the hall on the right. He knocks softly on the door.

"She's probably asleep." he whispered to himself slowly opening up the door. The door squeaked a little, but not loud. He closes the door behind him and slowly walks into the room. She is sleeping soundly on the bed. Her face had scratches and scars with some bandaged. There was a purple cast on her broken arm. Her leg was also in a cast hanging straight.

Jihoon looked at her sighing, "Stupid girl. Look what you got yourself into." he said softly shaking his head.

Her eyes started twitching trying to make themselves open. She looked up a little bit, but her sight stayed blurry. She noticed the figure that stood in front of her, but she couldn't put the pieces together of who it could be. When Jihoon noticed that she was waking up he vanished quickly without making a sound jumping out of the window landing on his feet looking back up to her room window.

Jihoon ran back home climbing on top of the roof of his house.

"What was I thinking? I can't believe I just did that. I barely know her. We literally only met once! Why is she stuck in my head?" walking back and forth on the roof top with his hands wrapped in his hair trying to think all of this over. "What is happening to me?" Opening his bedroom window he quietly goes back inside and lays down on his springy bed not having any way of falling asleep any time now.

Ring...........

Ring............

Ring.......

The ringing was coming back the more he thought about her. Maybe it is true. Maybe she is getting to him, but how? What does he plan on doing now?

"Doesn't she even go to the same school as me? Oh God, I hope not." smacking himself in the face with his pillow Jihoon doesn't get Yuna out of his head. "Wait." he sits up on his bed. "She's not gonna be at school for about two months especially since she has a broken arm and leg. It'll take her forever to heal. That gives me more than enough time to get her of my mind."

Shining sun rays glowed through his windowsill that very next morning on that Tuesday morning. Jihoon groans from that small, dimmed sunlight coming from his curtain.

"GET READY AND COME DOWN TO EAT NOW!" His mother shouted from the kitchen.

He groans louder getting out of bed, "Alright already." he responds dragging his feet to the bathroom. Then the thought of Yuna came to his mind and he rushes getting ready rushing downstairs. "Okay, I'm ready."

"Wow, that was way faster than usual. What's the rush?" he father asked from the kitchen table reading the newspaper.

"Nothing dad. I just realized that I need to get something before I go to school because apparently it's something that all the students, which is really stupid, but that's what I'm rushing through so get off my back now." he grabs a piece of bacon from his plate and runs out of the house. He turns on the car and drives to the hospital. Since it was morning he knew that Yuna would be up. He went to the side of the hospital where her room window was and looked up. With his strong sight he was able to look through and see her awake having breakfast in her room with her parents. He smiled happy to know she was doing alright.
