His father sat there in confusion, "What do you mean she went missing? I never was informed of Dr. Jang going missing."
His mother rolled her eyes, "Don't you know anything. You used to read the newspaper all the time and now you've completely stopped. Dr. Jang went missing the week we find out Jihoon could transform.
"But we found out about him that week. We knew he couldn't control the power that he was containing."
"Yes, exactly. Don't you remember? Jihoon ran away on that day and he came back two days after Dr. Jang went missing, and after that she never came back."
"But, there's no proof that it was Jihoon. Even though it was Dr. Jang's fault that the whole experiment went wrong, but Jihoon never knew that."
She nodded, "That's true, but he's still dangerous. He still doesn't know many things and we can't make him find out anything else. Our whole plan will be ruined."
"Yes you're right. We can't let that happen."
"We need to burn all of the files."
He looked up at her, "What? No! We can't do that. That's all of our data! All the hard work we put into that project."
"Which is exactly why we need to get rid of all of it." She started walking downstairs into the study. "We need to gather everything and erase all the boards." Picking up most of the papers and emptying out all of the file cabinets she began to throw them into the fireplace. "Get rid of everything, and I mean everything."
He nodded even though he didn't want to do any of it. All the data they wrote down was about to be wasted. There was this one paper that caught his eye. It was the notes that Dr. Jang wrote down during the experiment. He folded it small enough for it to fit in his front pocket of his pants without her noticing.
The flame rose up as they added more papers into it. She looked at all the papers burning and shrinking into the flame. "Now Jihoon can't find out anything else. This is the best thing to do. For his sake."

Jihoon kept thinking of the photo he found in the study of the woman who looked just like Yuna. He laid on his bed with so many thoughts on his mind. That woman was the one who made me into this monster. Dr. Jang? Why does she look like Yuna? That can't be Yuna's mother because she lives with her mother. Unless that's her step mother? Does Yuna know about her mother? Where can I find this woman? None of this makes sense.
He covered his face with hands rubbing his eyes. He went on his phone to text Yuna.
Jihoon:Hey, I know it's like 1 am right now, but I was wondering if you could meet me at the tree house tomorrow?
His phone dinged surprising him that Yuna was still awake.
Yuna: Yeah sure, what time?
Jihoon:Whenever you can. I need to talk to you about something I found in the study.
Yuna: You went back in there? Didn't your father yell at you?
Jihoon: You think my dad yelling at me is gonna stop me from finding out what happened to me? Not a chance. I need to know everything.
Yuna: Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then. I'll be there around 2.
Jihoon: Okay, goodnight
Yuna: Goodnight Hoonie!
He put his phone back on his dresser smiling at the fact that Yuna just gave him a new nickname. She's never called him Hoonie before. It was all new, and so was all this new information that he found out about the experiment.
