"What do you mean "a beast?" Yuna asked leaning her head to the side curiously.
He sighed, "It's kind of difficult to explain. I'm sorry, but the only way for you to truly believe me is if you see it for yourself. Would you meet me tonight? In the woods?"
She leaned back slowly on her chair, "What's gonna happen? Do you change into like a werewolf or something?" she chuckled.
A little grin came out from the side of his face from her joke, "Well, something like that I guess. Just tell me that you'll meet me tonight. If you really want to find out...everything."
"Everything? There's must be more to you than I thought, Jihoon." she smirked. "I can't wait to find out who this boy in front of me is."
"Don't get your hopes up too high. I still have barely met, and don't know that much about you yet, besides the fact that you're very curious about the characteristics of people, but at the same time you seem pretty trustworthy. Which is why I'm risking a lot by telling and showing you everything about me, or at least the things that I want you to know."
"So, I guess I'll see you tonight then." she smiled standing up and grabbing her crutches.
"Do you need some help walking to your car?" he asked standing up and pushing in her chair.
"Oh thanks. I appreciate it." she blushed starting to walk out with him.
"No, don't thank me. I insisted." he walked her out and helped her get in her car. "I'll see you tonight." He closed the door to her car and walked to his car and drove off.
Time to share my story. Thought Jihoon driving into his driveway.
Panic filled his body. Anxiety, making him shake. His heart racing dramatically through his chest. This is it. I'm actually gonna do this shit. Well, now I know that I'm really insane, but I know I must do this. I can trust her. I know I can.
Jihoon began to walk into the woods, since he already lived right next to it. Listening to the sound of the owls wooing in the distance and the crickets speaking to each other. The light of that giant moon was his only source of natural light that weren't the headlights of cars passing by. He felt Yuna's presence near by as he saw her car drive in even though he was far into the woods already.
"JIHOON! I'm here!" Yuna shouted looking around trying to find where he might be.
"Come closer. I'm up here in the trees." Jihoon responds from a near distance.
Yuna looks up and sees him sitting up on a really high oak tree. His green eyes glow in the bright moonlight. Yuna is able to see his sharp fangs peeking out of his lips. She wasn't sure whether if he was a werewolf or a vampire.
"So, what exactly are you? How long have you been this way?" there were so many questions rushing through her mind.
Jihoon sighs, "I've been this way for as long as I can remember, so basically my whole life." he slowly shook his head, "Honestly, I don't know the exact thing that I am, but at the same time, I just see myself as something that should not exist." He shrugged, " I just feel like an experiment that went wrong. Sometimes I feel like I was made rather than born. Most days it's like my parents don't even care about my well-being because they're never around me anyways."
He jumps off the tree and sits down leaning on the tree. Yuna sits next to him, "Well, are your parents the same way? Do they know what you are?"
"Yes, of course they know that I'm this horrible beast! I vicious animal! I think that they're the ones that made me this way!"
She calmly put her hand on his shoulder, "Hey, I'm sure that your parents would never make you into a monster. Just because you're different doesn't mean that you are a monster. You're only what you choose to be."
"But that's that the thing... I don't have a choice. I didn't have choice. If you're like me, you don't have a choice for anything." Yuna shakes her head in disagreement, "That's just not true. Everyone has a choice. You could do whatever you want to do because it's your own life, your own choices. I understand that you think that you're trapped and you have nothing, but you should not let all these different things stop you from doing what you want to do."
He looks up at her, his eyes dimming down and his fangs shrinking into normal as he calms himself down. He takes a deep breath, "I can't. Yuna, I'm dangerous. I hunt animals every now and then, I can smell blood from miles away. I might even hurt you. I can't let that happen."
She takes his hand, "You're not going to hurt me Jihoon. I'm sure I can help you get through this. There must be some way for us to figure out how to help you control your appetite, or your transformation."
"Us?"
She blushes a little with a slight smile, "Yeah...us. I want to help you Jihoon. I mean. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one that knows your secret, so I want to be able to help you out."
He sighs, "I don't think there's anything you can do. Also, I've had this feeling that my parents have been hiding something else from me. I hear them at night talking about how I'm not ready for something."
"What do you think they might be hiding?"
He shrugs, "I don't know, but I hate it when they keep secrets from me. It pisses me off so much. I'm gonna find out sooner or later because I know damn well they're not going to tell me anytime soon."
"I'm here to help you out with that too. They might be keeping some major away from you. I could be your secret spy." She chuckled.
"Secret spy?" He laughed, "You're so childish."
She blushed, "Well, it's the least I could do for my new friend."
"Friend?"
She smiled, "Yeah, friend."
