"Tears are words the mouth can't say nor can take the bear heart." - Joshua WisenbakerThird Person
This isn't real. Mattia prayed and hoped every night that his reality was a nightmare, that he would eventually wake up. Everything in his life was falling apart, it wasn't meant to be like this. His life wasn't supposed to be like this. He wanted to have a normal life, normal parent who loved him, that didn't hit and beat him any chance they got. Like he was a rag doll that that they used for their own entertainment, and threw to the side when they were bored. Break him like he was glass and meant absolutely nothing to this world. He felt as though he didn't though. He felt like his whole life was a mistake. He stared at his bruised and bloody face feeling numb. Nothing, he was used to it. He felt like laughing as he peered at both his black and purple eyes. So he did, he laughed until he felt tears slip from my eyes all the way down to his neck. Until he was curled up on the floor, a broken sodding mess. The only sound hear from his empty house was the silent whimpers and sobs of the sixteen year old. The sound was truly heartbreaking,a cry for help. But to Mattia they were pathetic and made him seem weak. He felt worthless.
"You are a mistake, a disgrace to this family!" The hurtful words Mattia's father spoke replayed in his mind like a broken record. He wanted it it stop. He wanted the pain to go away, the pit of sadness to vanish. But it didn't work like that. And it never will, something Mattia had to except.
He managed to drag his exhausted body off from the cold hard floor, making his way to his unkept bed. He carelessly got under the covers, ignoring the excruciating pain his fresh bruises were receiving. He deserved it.
"I need to get out of here." Was the last thing he muttered under his breath before he finally felt peaceful. The only time he felt as if everything was okay.
I honestly don't know where this is going but it is going to be an emotional rollercoaster. I'm not sure if you guys know but I'm used to writing sad book, when I wrote my Kairi story it was really out of my comfort zone because I don't usually write books like that. I'm glad you guys liked it hopefully you like this book as well :)
I've got the plot all figured out but I'll probably change it up as I go. Kairi's background will be in the next chapter
