Mew was dipping his face into the mattress as he growled to let out his frustration. It was Sunday night, would be the second night since the last time he heard from Gulf. The green monster inside him had put his mind in some kind of toxic things like imagining if Gulf's date went too well that he ended up spending the night with that girl.
It could be possible since Gulf liked to play around, and sometimes his flirtations turned into one night stands. Mew wanted to vomit because of his own thought. He still couldn't get used to see Gulf being touched by another girl. It made him wanted to snap some bones.
Mew rolled on the mattress, made himself facing the ceiling. He put one of his arm covering his eyes. He let out a very long sigh.
He had been sending text messages to the other guy one after another but he never got replied by him. Mew had been thinking on going to Gulf's dorm but he pushed that idea.
He was a coward, afraid that he would run into that girl who had made him green with envy. What if he broke down in front of the two lovey-dovey couple and had a slipped tongue instead? What if he stupidly confessed to his best friend because his feelings were just too much to keep?
Mew stretched his arm to get the phone he had thrown minutes ago out of his frustration. He then opened the chat window he had with Gulf. So many messages from him weren't read. So the guy texted:
Are you okay? -Mew
No response. He texted again:
Answer me, Gulf. -Mew
Please, I just need to know that you're fine. If not, I'm going to your room to check you myself. -MewHe threatened the other guy but still got no response. He sighed as he closed his eye lids again. Now he just hoped that Gulf was fine. It didn't matter if that girl was with him and they were too cozy in their love bubble, let it be. He just needed to know that Gulf was safe and sound.
While he was chanting his prayer on his head, his phone finally dinged, his body abruptly sat up as his finger tapped away the notification from the chatting app.
I'm fine. Why are you worried? Lol -Gulf
Mew let out a sigh because he didn't realize that he had held his breath while reading the message from Gulf. Just a single text from the other guy had made Mew's heart swelled.
He really wanted to see Gulf. No matter if he had that girl hanging out at his place, Mew would just crashed Gulf's place and hung out with them both. Even if they declared their fresh start of relationship to him, Mew would just pretend that he was okay.
He just needed to see the other guy because he missed that brat a little too much. Mew got up from his bed and peeled his homie clothes with jeans and t-shirt before he headed out to Gulf's condo.

.As much as he wanted to see the cheeky tanned guy a.k.a Gulf, his best friend, Mew spent a good 10 minutes inside his car just to prepare himself.
Well, he needed to prepare his mental and heart in case Gulf really got a girlfriend. It was ironic though, Mew was dumped by Tar on their third date while Gulf seemed to go well with that girl.
Honestly, he couldn't believe himself that he broke up with Tar just because his foolish ass still liked Gulf very much. As if breaking up with Tar would give him a chance to be Gulf's boyfriend.
But at least he wouldn't hurt Tar anymore. He was more than grateful to have an understanding ex like Tar. He was really mature, despite his age that was a year younger. Very different to Gulf's childish attitude.
