Chapter 8

Jade PoV:
When I walked into bathroom I heard a heartbeat and first I didn't think much of it. But then I heard sharp breaths and I got scared. I didn't know what happened, but it didn't sound good. I looked around to see one bathroom stall closed. I smelled blood, so I kicked into door to open it.

That was an awful idea because I got an insane thirst for blood. I had to contain myself, so I used vamp speed to go out of the bathroom. I knew I had to help somehow, even if not personally. I took one glass from the bar and filled it with my blood. Then I saw some girl walking towards me, so I compelled her "there is a girl with glass in her shoulder. Take the glass out and then give her this to drink. She'll be fine.".

I waited a little longer when the girl I compelled came out. That's when I walked in again and saw this confused girl. I looked into her eyes and compelled her to tell me what happened. She shook her head "I don't remember. I came into the bathroom and the rest of it is blank.".

I didn't really know what happened, but I knew a magical creature had something to do with it. Most likely a vampire, a monster or even something else. But wasn't Josie in this bathroom today. Oh, what if something would have happened to her. As I thought of that I ran out and hugged Josie.

She quickly returned the hug and after a few moments she pulled away "hey, what was that for?". I smiled at her "well, I'm glad you are ok..", then my smile faded "there was a girl in the bathroom. She was hurt and didn't know what happened or who did this to her.". She looked pale for a second "who do you think did it?".

I looked at the floor and couldn't get why someone would do something like that "I don't know. But whoever did it shouldn't have done that. That's just wrong, you know? And that person should get punished.". Josie nodded and then smiled at me "well, let's not talk about that.". Then we slowly got back to our school.

Josie PoV:
What Jade said was so true and I honestly respected her opinions. But the thing is that I didn't feel bad at all. It felt nice... and that scared the life out of me. I'll try to get through this without hurting anyone else. I mean, at least I'll try. Speaking of Jade, she was  finally my girlfriend and I couldn't be happier. It has been an awesome date and I hoped there would be many more. I really like her and I don't want anything to ruin what we have.

We got back to school and she walked me to my dorm, since hers is not that far away "Jo, stay safe okay? They still didn't catch that monster.". I nodded and kissed her with so much passion "goodnight Jade". I walked through the door and when I did that I felt it again.

I leaned against the door and tried to fight for it. I succeeded after 10 minutes and I was so exhausted. I walked up to bed and almost went to sleep when black magic tried to take over. I tried to fight it again, but I felt it slowly taking over, so I ran into the bathroom, locked the door and a few moments later it took over.

I could practically feel the black magic slowly spread and I felt amazing. I felt so powerful, so strong and at the same time I felt weird. My eyes turned black and I could feel black magic getting slowly into my brain. I knew I had to stop it, so I tried pushing it away.

I was loosing this battle, but I had to be strong. I had to win this, because if I didn't that would be the last time I felt this powerful. After a while and with that being said actually a very long time, I succeeded. It was harder than ever, every time is.

I waited a bit to calm down and then I walked out of the bathroom to see Lizzie sleeping on her bed. I was really tired, so I went to sleep thinking that everything was going to be fine... but was I wrong.
