Chapter 6

Jade PoV:
It's been three days since me and Josie kissed or you could say made out and we haven't had a chance to talk since then. She's been busy with school stuff and I've been doing the same. I missed talking to her or just having her in my presence.

I walked out of my last class and I walked out of school wanting some fresh air. There I saw Josie on the bench, her back facing me. I walked up to her and covered her eyes. She clearly got scared and turned around as quickly as she possibly could. She took a deep breath and calmed down after a few seconds "Jade, what the hell?!?".

I used my vamp speed and I was sitting next to her in a split second "hey Joz. We haven't talked in a while. How are you?". She looked at her hands "we have to talk.". Then I looked at my hands "yeah, we should.". Then we sat there in silence, it wasn't weird silence, it was a comfortable one.

We sat there for a little bit longer and then I hugged her and used vamp speed to get to the lake "okay, now we can talk.". There was a look of shock on Josie's face and it was so funny I started laughing. Josie saw that and glared at me "stop laughing.". I tried to maintain myself "okay,okay. What did you want to talk about?".

Josie took a deep breath again and looked at me "okay. Look Jade, I am going to be honest with you. I like you. I really really like you and not just as friends but much much more. So yeah, I like like you.". Then she looked at me and I could see that she was nervously expecting an answer.

I smiled at her and took her hand "I like you too Joz, I really do. I have liked you since I saw you for the first time in a long time in prison world,". She smiled at me and I cupped her cheek. I leaned in and she met me halfway, but this time it was just a peck.

Josie PoV:
I'm so so happy right now. I mean seriously, I'm so happy that Jade likes me back. Maybe we'll even get a chance to go on a date and be together. I was smiling and looking at her for a long time, since she sprayed a little of water on me "Josie, Josie are you okay?".

I smiled at her even brighter "yeah, I'm just so happy right now.". When I said that she smiled at me and kissed me again "me too.". I was about to say something, but Jade beat me to it "so, what are we now?". I looked at the lake "I don't know. What do you want to be?".

I could see that Jade wanted to say something but stopped herself. Then all of the sudden she jumped on top of me "do you want to go on a date with me Joz?". I wanted to free myself but she was stronger "of course Jade, of course I'll go out with you.". Then I felt her soft lips on mine and I immediately kissed back.

Then Jade all of the sudden stopped kissing me and got up "we should get going, I heard there might be another monster out here .". That destroyed my mood, does everyone really think that I'm a monster, even Jade. I looked at my feet "I'll just stay here for a bit longer, if that's okay.".

Jade nodded and walked away, but not before pecking my lips. I knew that it was too risky to do it at the same space again since they caught up to what happened. I thought for a second and then I walked  to the school and right past it.

I walked into the other side of the forrest without anyone noticing since I used spell to become invisible. When I was far enough I put down the spell and let out my frustration. I'm not a bad person just because I have power. I have control over the situation, every time a little less but I'm willing to take that risk.
