Chapter 9

3 weeks later.....

Jade PoV:
Me and Josie have been dating for three weeks now and everything is just amazing. I'm so happy right now and I'm actually nailing the classes. It's starting to feel like home again here at the Salvatore school. Everything has been going perfectly, maybe even too perfect.

I walked up to Josie's dorm since we were about to hang out. I just walked in and didn't see Josie anywhere, but I did see that the bathroom door was closed, maybe even locked. I knocked on the door and waited to see if I could get an answer. I heard nothing in response so I knocked again "Joz, you in there?".

I heard a loud sigh and then it all went quiet. I was about to say something when I heard a response "y-yeah. I'm in here". I smiled and leaned on the wall beside the door "is everything okay? Do you want to hang out some other time?". I heard whispering and I was a little confused.

Then I could hear her as she took a few steps "yeah, I'm fine. But I'm really tired right now, can we hang out in a few hours.". I sighed sadly, but I understood "yeah, sure. Call me if you need anything.".

But before I left I saw something laying on her bed.There was this spell that looked like it was for black magic. Oh,Josie what are you getting into. I took if with me and walked out.

I walked up to the library to go study for a little bit. I know Josie can take care of herself. I was studying and studying and in the end I got tired and decided to go take a nap. I walked into my dorm and saw that Wendy was out, probably hanging out with the witches. I walked over to my bed trying and eventually succeeding at falling asleep.

Josie PoV:
Okay, so for the last 3 weeks I've been continuing to use black magic and every time I tried to get it back on the inside was harder. Every time I had less and less control of it and I was scared. It was harder and it took more time which meant that it was also hard for me to make sure nobody found out.

I know I might have been too mean when I told Jade to go , but I was trying to fight black magic. I succeeded, but afterwards I was so tired. Speaking of Jade, I should probably go to apologise. I walked to her dorm and knocked. When there was no answer I walked in and saw Jade sleeping.

I walked up to her and tried to wake her up "Jade, wake up. Jade.". She woke up after a couple of seconds and looked really confused "Josie, what are you doing here?". I smiled at her "I don't know, I guess I wanted to apologise.". She looked shocked, but then looked at me concerned. She walked and took something out of the drawer "Josie, why did you need this spell of dark magic?".

I was confused and I had to lie, otherwise she would walk away from me "well, I had it because I wanted to throw it out. I found it in some old book, but when I brought it to the dorm, I realised that it's black magic and wanted to throw it away.". She definitely didn't believe me as she looked at me sceptically "well, I don't think that's the case. What were you doing in the bathroom then?".

I heard how her voice was raising as if she was trying not to yell "don't you trust me Jade? I would never do black magic and I was in the bathroom because I was sick.", I said upset and looked at her. She was just standing there. I sighed and walked away before she could say anything else.

I was hurt. I didn't know what happened, but I did think that she trusted me. I walked up to my dorm and black magic became too much for me. But at that point it didn't matter, nothing mattered because if Jade really didn't believe me then why not prove her right. I let power inside, I let it consume me and all of the sudden Lizzie came in "Oh my god. Jo, what's happening ?".

So now that Josie let the black magic in, what will happen? Will Jade find out? What's Lizzie going to do? All of that will be in the next chapter.
