Chapter 26

Josie PoV:
It was all dark. I couldn't see at hear anything. I was alive, but I felt like  I was dead. Is this how afterlife looks like? I started thinking about everyone at school and Jade. Oh, Jade... I fucked up.

I should've never put her in the middle of this. It just wasn't fair towards her. I should have told someone about my issue with black magic, but I didn't.. and I regret it so much.

I was thinking about it when all of the sudden, I felt the urge to open my eyes. I did it and that's when I saw where I was.

I was in a basement, or at least it looked like one and I was alone. I was chained up and the cuffs were not allowing me to do magic. I started moving around, then I fell on the ground and heard a voice.

"Well, looks like I finally succeeded. I guess I have better luck than your friends.". And when that person came to the light, I fell in shock "no way...it's you".

"Oh don't act that shocked. And don't worry, we are going to have so much fun together.".

(A few months later...)
Hope PoV:
Josie has been gone for a few months and to say that it didn't affect us, would be a big lie. We were all so stressed out, especially Jade. She isn't taking it well at all. I could swear that nobody loves lake that much to be there all the time.

Anyways, me and Lizzie are still looking for her and there is literally no trace of her and that's the scariest thing.

Lizzie PoV:
I was walking around the hallway when I heard all so familiar laughing. And it clearly wasn't the good kind. I went to see what was going on to see Josie all happy.

I ran up to her and hugged her, but she did not hug me back. From that moment I knew that something was seriously wrong. She just stood there and when I pulled back she smirked "hello Lizzie. I am back and you will pay for everything you've ever done to me.".

I looked at her and took a deep breath "Jo, where were you? We were worried about you. I missed you so much, oh I'm so glad you are back.".

She just smiled "I'm looking for Hope. I need her to pay.". I wanted to stop her, but she walked away. We were so screwed.

Josie PoV:
I was surprised when I found Hope in my dorm as I just knocked on the door to get her attention "hello Hope, what did I miss?".

She jumped up and immediately run up to me "Josie, where have you been?". I looked at her coldly as she began to realising what was happening "no Jo... this isn't you, it never was. Josie...".

I threw her against the wall and threw a chair into her "this is me. Like it or not, but it is the truth and truth hurts.".

I let her go and when I was walking away I heard a quiet voice "what happened to you Jo? Who did this to you?".

Flashback....
I was chained up and all I could feel was pain. I felt empty on the inside. I looked around all I could see was my blood from all the things that he had it done to me.

I felt my vision getting blurrier as he walked up to me and grabbed my chin "time for some vamp blood sweetheart .".

"No.. please, I can't do this... Kai, please...."
