Alfie's POV

I stroked Zoe's hair, her head was rested on my lap, she looked up at me and pouted her lips, signalling for me to kiss her. I pecked her petite lips, I wasn't really in the mood to be a good boyfriend today. She pouted ago again, wanting another kiss. I ignored her. Looking back up at the TV. I saw her sigh out of the corner of my eye. She wriggled further onto my lap. I shuffled away. Causing her head to slowly slide down my lap again.
"Alfie stop moving," she moaned.
"Sit up properly then." I said with attitude.
"What's your problem today!" She said, raising her voice.
"Nothing, I'm just not in the mood to he covered in kisses." I moaned. My eyes still fixated on the TV.
"Were supposed to be in a relationship, it's a two way thing Alfie. Put some effort in." I couldn't help but admire her wits. She was a strong woman.
"Maybe somedays putting effort in isn't what you want to do." She wiped her eye with the side of her thumbs. I couldn't believe we were arguing. There was something about me today that wanted to argue with someone. I had a lot of built up anger.
"We'll maybe somedays I don't want to put the effort into living here!" She shouted. I was taken back by her words.
"What do you mean?" I said, I stood up and paced behind the sofa, putting my hands on my head.
"I'm moving out Alfie," she calmly replied. "Were getting on top of each other," I sighed. "Maybe this is for the best," she said, approaching me. Her petite hand met with my upper arm. Her touch made me sick. How could she do this? Moving out over one silly row. She rubbed her hand on my arm. I swung my arm to bat away her hand. I swung so fast I wasn't aware of what I was hitting. Until I saw Zoe with her back turned. Clutching her cheek. Guilt immediately ran over me.
"Zo, I'm sorry," I panicked reaching out to comfort her. She dodged my touch. Then I realised. I'm just like him.
"Zo, I'm nothing like him, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to!" I pleaded. By time I could finish she was out the door. I was nothing like Henry. At least I thought.
