Bring... Bring...

"Pens down. Hand over your papers.", the teacher hollered collecting, snatching, papers moving down the rows.

I submitted my paper and left the room along with the others who were rushing out.

Final exams could not have gotten over earlier than this. Sleepless nights of teaching dumbheads, overcrowded libraries, endless hours of torture of writing the answers, were finally over, along with my school days.

Due to exams, we did not get to return to home for our weekends either. Since the announcement regarding the exams, we were crammed up in our dorms and classes. There was no out for us.

I stood next to my locker waiting for the boys to join me.

"Yay, the exams are finally over. I can finally breathe.", Sam said after hugging me.

"As if you didn't before this.", I said back.

"You know, that was supposed to be a phrase. Not for you to ridicule it.", he said glaring at me.

"I know, but I just couldn't let go of the chance.", I said sticking out my tongue at him.

"So you leaving today or tomorrow?", Seb asked while we made our way to the canteen.

"Today, so buy me my lunch.", I said pushing him before sitting in our table.

Unsurprisingly, Liam also was there. I turned my head the other way before our gazes could connect. His words still flashes through my mind from every now and then.

Flashback

"And I definitely made a mistake making you the sports captain. I wasted my connections."

"What?!", I yelled at that.

"Then what? Did you think he selected you out of his own interest? Please. I was enough for the position, I didn't need you. I did it just to woo you. But what did you do? Felt anything? All you did was to flaunt your badge.", he sneered.

"Just shut up. You have no rights to talk to me like that. I deserved the position every bit. Who are you to tell otherwise?", I shouted glaring at him.

"Because I was the one who gave it to you.", he ridiculed before turning around to leave.

Just before he could disappear from my sight he turned around.

"Don't act as if we are close. We aren't. And don't you try any tricks of yours on me starting tomorrow. You won't like the ending.", he added one last time and left.

I gaped at the place he was standing before.

"Here you go.", Seb said placing the food in front of me.

I smiled at him before unwrapping at him.

"What are you day dreaming about?", Seb asked after sitting opposite to me while Sam sat next to me.

"Nothing.", I shrugged taking a bite from my lunch. The thing is I haven't told them what had happened. They did ask as to why suddenly Liam has stopped with his antics. I replied them saying, "He would have lost his interest.". I mean, it wasn't a lie. They didn't question about it again.

"Which college are you applying for?", Sam asked with his mouth full.

"Haven't come to a conclusion yet. What about you guys?", I said munching on my food.

"Same, not yet decided.", Seb answered.

"We have got time. We can take it one at a time.", I said.

Both of them shrugged at that while munching on their food.

I put the last item into my bag before shutting it.

"You sure you don't want these? These taste good.", Sam asked packing the leftover chocolates from the other day into a bag.

"I'm good. You can have them all."

"And what about these?", Seb asked walking towards me with teddies.

"I will take this one, rest, you can do whatever you want to.", I said taking the smallest teddy.

He shook his head before continuing to pack the teddies.

"Don't forget us okay? Be in touch.", Seb told while Sam seemed like he would cry any moment.

"Yea, as if I will. It should be me telling those things to you, as you forgot about my presence even when I was hanging out with you only.", I said crossing my arms and narrowing my eyes at them.

"Will you ever stop bringing it up?", Sam whined while carrying my bag in one hand.

"Maybe.", I said shrugging before adding, "When you do another mistake."

This made them groan loudly.

"Just get going already. We will talk later.", Seb said taking the bags to dad's car, where dad stood having the trunk open to load the bags.

"Hi, Mr Walter.", Sam called out while keeping in the bags.

"Hi, Sam. Hi, Seb. How are you both doing?", he asked after closing the trunk.

"All good. How are you doing, sir?", Seb asked.

"It's Antony. And yeah I am all good. Aren't you guys leaving home?", he asked pointing to their now empty hands.

"Not yet. We are leaving tomorrow.", Sam answered.

"Oh. You want me to leave Tan here for the day?", dad asked making me look at him in surprise.

"It's fine Antony. You have come all the way here to pick her up. And there is anything fun to do in here. We will meet up in the holidays.", Seb said shrugging making me nod in agreement.

"Okay then. See you later. We will get going. Take care.", dad said going to the driver seat.

"You too, Mr Walter", they both told in unison.

They waved me goodbye before heading back into the building after we drove away.

"Finally passed out of school, huh? I don't have to worry about you getting suspended for a few months now.", he sighed dramatically making me roll my eyes.

"Yea yea. Sure.", I said assuring his words.

School is done. I needn't worry about anythingfor a while now. Finally. Time to relax.
