The rest of the day was off for us. I spent my time sleeping in.

Sleeping on the ground had definitely taken a toll on me. And to add on my mattress felt too comfortable to move out.

Reluctantly, I woke up to Sam knocking on my door calling me for dinner.

"You seem to be loving the hoodie.", he said wiggling his eyebrows.

I looked down to realize that I was still in the spoiled dress with the hoodie on. I groaned before picking up another dress.

I went inside bathroom to take a shower while Sam made himself comfortable on my bed.

I cleaned the stain the best I could before showering and changing into long sleeved t-shirt and track pants.

I walked into the bathroom giving myself a once over making sure I didn't make the same mistake twice, before going out of the room without caring about Sam.

"Hey!", he shouted running behind me before I locked the door.

"What? You seemed to be enjoying the bed.", I said shrugging.

Once we entered the canteen, I made a bee-line to the buffet area before loading my plate.

Since the time I had woken up my stomach had been growling in hunger.

I was thankful there was any food left at all as it was an hour since dinner started.

Sam followed me to our table with his own plate.

"What took you so long?", Seb asked as we settled in the table.

The canteen was almost empty except for a few boys here and there and the lunch aids.

"Well, Ms Walter here slept off sniffing on Sanders' hoodie.", Sam joked.

"Hey! I did not do that. Take it back.", I threatened him.

"Nah, I am good.", he said stuffing his mouth.

I kicked his leg under the table.

"Ouch. Why did you kick me?", he whined rubbing his throbbing leg.

"Take it back."

"Violent.", he muttered before munching his food completely ignoring my word.

I shook my head at him and returned to my food too.

After dinner I returned to my room while the boys returned to theirs.

I twisted and turned in the bed with sleep long lost for me. I lay there looking around the room blankly before my eyes caught the hoodie hanging beside the dresser.

I walked over and took the hoodie in my hand. I hesitated for a moment before pulling it over my head.

I went back and dozed off in an instant with the warmth surrounding me.

The next morning the guys were pretty much busy. I didn't have class in the first hour so I came down a little later than usual. Every other guy was busy with their phones and the teachers didn't seem to mind it at all. Usually by now the phones would have been confiscated and the boys would have been given detention but none of it seemed to be happening at the moment. I doubted whether we had class at all the next hour seeing the lack of presence of teachers.

I came across the boys busy munching on some food without a care in the world. They seemed completely unaware about what was happening around them or they just didn't give a fuck.

"What's all the buzz about?", I asked leaning on the brick wall next to the stairs they were sitting on.

"Oh that.", Sam replied before continuing to eat.
