Lying there I feel my pulse decrease slowly, but my pyjama is top still soaked in sweat. Deciding to get some water to calm my nerves, I doubt it will work.

My feet pad down the steps making echoes around the hallways. My house isn't big but the echoes boom around the empty hallways loudly. I never get to be invisable in this house.

Once I'm downstairs I go to the kitchen, fumbling for a glass, I hear russling outside the house. It's so early, who could be up? The noises outside grow quiter so i carry on getting the origanal water. *creeeek*... That isn't just some early morning runner, that's a burgler. The footsteps are no longer outside but in this house. The house I am in right now, the house my family are in. The house that is radiating mysterious things as per now. The noises get louder and louder and the footsteps seem to aproach the kitchen. The kitchen I am standing in.

"Who are you?" My voice comes out shaky, and I hold the water tightly in my sweating hand.

"Why are you up so late young lady?" The voice is muffled like something is in it's mouth. A shadow appears in the hallway, it looks like it's male from the posture- slumped over. The shadow creeps closer and closer to the door. I'm starting to panic and there is no where to run. No where to hide. What is this mysterious shadow?

"Why aren't you asleep sis?" My brother's body appears behind the door and he is wearing his retainer. I let out a sigh of relief and just as I'm about to answer when my glass drops to the floor smashing into tiny peices of shard glass and water. The collision against the floor cracks around the whole house and I'm surprised nobody wakes up.

I curse under my breath and go to pick up the pieces with my bare hands. I head for the largest shard of glass. The glass is covered in water making it slippery, due to my sweaty hands the glass slides out of my hand and digs into my skin as it falls. The pain instantly shoots through my hand and I screach in pain.

Looking down at my hand I see blood pouring around the curves of my hand highlighting my finger prints and palm carvings. The blood appears blue due the the light but I can see the shine glistening in it.

I look up at my brother pain still surging through my palms, I see a flash behind him but it's not light but a dark blurr. The same blurr I saw last night. I clutch onto my hand, stumbling over to the blurr I just saw. I see my brother walk towards the glass completly oblivious to what i just saw. I don't care i need to find out what this thing is.

My hand is still bleeding and i need to cover it or at least tidy it up a bit. Wiping it against my top seems to be the only option from here so thats what I do- not my best plan i have to admit. The top sticks to the cut and stings when i try to fill it away. The fluff from my top attachs itself to the cut but I couldn't care less, I will deal with that later.

Creeping into the hallway I look around slowly trying to detect what keeps flashing infront of my eyes. I see the closet door slightly open so I tip-toe to the small room at the end of the house. Turning the light on inside the box room but it doesn't appear to turn on. Working under annoying cercomstances... Great.

I feel around but everything seems to be to the norm. Dang, I thought I would find something, maybe I'm just going crazy... I mean what am I actually looking for?

Just as i am about to get out of the cramped room I feel something tug at my arm pulling me around. It's so forcefull that I nearly fall over from the sudden movement but I am supported by an arm wrapping around my back and holding onto my head. I gasp in horror and look at to what is touching me.
