Maybe I should...

[Wheein's POV]

I was upset and disappointed with the way the news article described the situation. It was extremely unexpected the way things had turned out. Now we had more things to address since a photo of Hyejin's cuts were shown. I couldn't believe the picture though. How could anyone have seen it, I wondered to myself.

I stood up and walked towards the bedside where my Hyejinnie was still resting. Her face looking peaceful except for the tightly clenched lips.

"Unnies... what are we going to do about this mess?" I ask our 2 unnies who are sitting on the cushioned seats against a wall in another corner of the room.

"I don't know Whee... I think there's nothing we can do now except let our company handle the matter but just stay by Hyegi's side..." Our sturdy leader replies with some hesitation.

Just then we hear some shuffling of the bed sheets.

"Oh... what am I doing here?" I hear the all too familiar fragile voice. I rush over back to her side and hold her hand tightly.

"You're awake jinnie! um...you're in the hospital because you fainted..." I reply her loudly at first, but let my voice trail off gradually.

"What... no... no... that is impossible..." Hyejin rambles frantically. Her eyes filled entirely with anxiety.

"Breathe in... breathe out... in... and then out..." Yong Sun unnie gently holds on to Hyegi's hand and tries to get her to calm down.

Slowly her breathing slows down and she starts talking normally again.

"Did anything else happen?" She asks calmly but with a hint of fear in her voice.

The 3 of us exchange looks. None of us knew exactly how to explain the mess out there now but one of us had to do it. I took a deep breath and replied her as positively as I could.

"Hyejin ah... there was someone, we don't know who but apparently they sent the press a picture of your scars... but hey, we are going to all get through this together okay. It's not your fault. Please don't think that way. It's definitely not your fault. Unnie was saying that we should just wait and leave it to our agency to handle first. When you're ready then you can respond to the articles." I look at her warmly in the eye as I shared with her what had happened. I didn't want her to let her thoughts start to spiral.

There was a few minutes of silence in the room. No one spoke up after I had finished talking. We were waiting for our maknae to say something. We looked at her expectantly and then she opened her mouth.

"Is it a really huge mess now? I don't want to cause more trouble then I already have. Maybe I should just explain things clearly and give my response so everything will be easier..." She softly asks, her eyes slightly glassy.
