I wrote this novel inspired by an actual real-life story of someone so close to me. She wanted to share her experience in a book with the hope that many others can learn to appreciate true love when they find it, and learn to hold on to it before it becomes too late... Because, well, it does happen in real life. #RealLifeSucks
This is the first novel I ever worked on that I dedicated to the memory of someone. It's a story that I initially wrote as a one-shot (short story) way back in college, was published in our local campus magazine, and made quite a few people wonder as to who the protagonist was in real life — except for the ones who knew who she really was because they were part of the story, too.
I took my time finally turning this one-shot from years back into a novel. And, of course, just like any other novels that were inspired by true stories, the one you'll be reading right now is also mixed with a few fictional details here and there to better cater to different reader preferences. I hope you enjoy reading it.
