THEY COULD HEAR SCREAMING COMING FROM THE PLANE.

"Holy shit he's still alive." Genevive said.

Blake moved first, running into the barn. Schofield tailed after him.

"You can't be serious." She called after them. "You're helping him?" She stood and followed them quickly, coughing from the smoke. She watches them nervously as together they wrenched the pilot free, dragging him from the remains of the cockpit.

"Meine beine!" The pilot shouted. "Meine beine! Hilf mir! Hilf mir!"

Schofield and Blake dragged the pilot by his shoulders and laid him in the grass. The pilot's pants had been partially burnt off, blood streaking down his legs. They all looked down at the Pilot, shocked, unsure of what to do now.

"We should put him out of his misery." Schofield said. Genevieve nodded.

"No." Blake shook his head. "Get him some water."

"Blake, he's the enemy." Genevieve said.

"He needs water." Blake kneelt beside the pilot, gently cradling his head on his knees.

Schofield and Genevieve glanced at each other and looked around for water. Schofield spotted and moved to the water pump while Genevieve went back to the barn to see if the milk had survived the crash.

"Stop...Stop!" Blake was shouting.

Genevieve turned around in confusion and then stopped in her tracks. She screamed in terror. The pilot stabbed Blake.

"BLAKE!" She screamed and ran towards him. "Schofield help!"

Two gunshots rang out and the pilot fell dead. Schofield had killed him. Genevieve fell to her knees next to Blake who was looking down at his own bloody hands.

"Bastard," Blake muttered. "Bloody bastard."

"Blake, are you alright?" She asked urgently.

"Oh, God no." He cried. "Oh, God no."

"We have to stop the bleeding." Schofield was next to them in an instant, pushing the white bandage hard against Blake's tunic, trying to stem the blood. Blake shouted in pain.

"Stop it." He yelled. "Stop it!"

"Sweetie he has to stop the blood." Genevieve put Blake's head in her lap and reached forward to help stop the bleeding.

"It's alright," Schofield told his friend. "It's going to be alright. We're going to stand up."

"I don't think that's a good idea-" Genevieve was cut off by Schofield yanking Blake to his feet.
