Zak and I's kiss was soft and elegant. I was tempted to pull myself away from his lips, but I just could not. Zak had the body of a God, the charm of the Devil, and the allure of a drug. No woman could resist this man, not even me.

I slightly dug my nails into the tender skin on the back of his neck.

-"Elizabeth." Zak whispered in between kisses as he could not resist.

-"What is it Zachary?" I whispered as I pulled away, looking deep into his passionate hazel eyes, a passion I had not seen before in any man - Zachary was serious.

-"I did not mean for that to happen.." My voice trailed off as I looked down.

-"I wanted it to happen." Zak stated. I furrowed my brows at his response.

-"Would it bother you if I wanted it to happen as well?" I dared to ask.

-"Not a bit." Zak flashed his devilish grin as he leaned in for another kiss.

As we departed from each other for the last time, Zak's thumb grazed my right cheek as he turned back around in the saddle, kicking his horse into a slow trot. The ride was long and treacherous as the horse's back bone dug into my tightened tired muscles as they kept my balance.

-"It's a long road down." I said over the horse's heavy gait.

-"I know, but once we get there, you'll be amazed." Zak glanced a smile over his shoulder. We soon arrived at what looked like an old home.

-"Zak? What are we doing here?" I asked as I had not taken an eye off of the property.

-"My father lived here." Zak whispered as he hitched his horse before helping me down from the horse's hindquarters.

-"The place looks abandoned." I choked out.

-"That's why I said that my father lived here, before he ran off to Chicago is what I was told." Zak responded as he led me into the old home.

-"Are we hiding out from the posse?"

-"Yes, well for now anyway." Zak sighed as if something was the matter.

-"Are you holding up?" I asked as I grasped his clenched hand.

-"My father left after my mother died of childbirth, in this case I was the newborn, he was a German immigrant who got in a bar fight south of Chicago. I was sent off to an orphanage and ran away and fell in with a gang - Aaron and Nick." Zak choked. I cringed at Aaron's name.

-"I'm so sorry, must've been hard on you." I sighed as Zak pulled me into his embrace for a comforting hug.

I stroked his soft black hair as I felt tears hitting my neck. I was astonished that Zachary was crying. This proved to me that he was more than an outlaw, he was a human being - a human being who loved, a human being who had emotions.

I pulled away from Zachary, wiping the tears from his cheeks as I pulled his face closer to mine, placing a loving kiss on his forehead.

-"It was a long road down for me. It still is." Zak whispered as I pulled my lips away from his forehead. As if a broken sparrow couldn't sing anymore, that's how Zak's heart must have felt - going through such a dramatic era at such a young age.

-"Is this the true reason you brought me here, Zachary Bagans?" I asked as his hazel eyes looked into mine.

-"Partially, and to keep you protected."

-"Where are we going to sleep? It's getting pretty dark." I sighed as Zak grasped my hand and led me into a back bedroom. I noticed an old bed laying next to the wall. Zak sat himself on the edge of the bed, carefully examining it for any critters before we laid ourselves down to sleep.

-"It's okay, Elizabeth, come." Zak motioned as I slowly stalked my way over to the old bed. As old as it looked, it was rather comfortable! I clenched Zak's trench coat over my breasts as my back hit the soft wooden mattress. Zak lay himself beside of me as I lay my head in the crook of his arm and shoulder.

Zak took my left hand in his palm, gently rubbing the top, "T-there's something I gotta tell ya', Elizabeth." Zak breathed as he kissed my knuckles, leaving my face at worry.

-"There's a war comin'.. And I signed up." Zak breathed as he brought my knuckles to his lips once more. My eyes widened from concern and my jaw dropped from shock,

-"Please don't leave." I cried.

-"I have to say goodbye in seven days." Zak whispered as now my palm was on his lips. I was just as upset as he was.

-"My country needs me, I'm doing this for my father and you." With that I sat myself up and propped my weight on my elbow, my face hovering over Zak's, "I understand. It just worries me." I whispered.

Zak barely leaned himself up, his face buried in my breasts, placing gentle kisses upon my breasts and torso. He then proceeded to remove his trench coat from my body, exposing my undergarments, I was hesitant at first but my mind told me otherwise. I let him lay me down onto the bed, his body hovering over mine, his lips still on my breasts, his breathing becoming heavy.

-"Zak." I whispered as my fingers dared to tangle into his hair. My legs spread just for him, allowing his hips to pin themselves between my thighs. My breathing became hesitant as I felt his erection getting larger and larger.

Zak started to unbutton the torso of my undergarments as he left a trail of soft kisses following behind. My hands travelled to his bandana, slowly untying it and throwing it to the floor and going to his buttoned white shirt, exposing his masculine torso.

-"You can brag on yourself." I joked as my palms ran over his pectoral muscles and down to his waistband of his trousers, only to be stopped by his hands on top of mine, "Are you sure?" Zak asked with a raised brow.

I hesitated for a moment, "Y-yes." I choked, "But please spill your seed outside of me, I could not bare a birth." I continued as I saw Zak spring free through the darkness. My hand reached through the darkness to stroke his shaft, igniting my romance towards him.

-"Are you ready?" Zak asked as he wedged his hips between my thighs, preparing himself to penetrate.

-"Y-yeah." I nodded as the intense pain of his penis breaking my hymen. It hurt more than it brought pleasure. I gripped Zak's forearm tightly as his thrusts turned from soft and gentle to faster and stronger.

-"I have something else to tell you too.." Zak whispered out of breath as his left palm gripped my hip.

-"What's that?" I responded as he gave another hard thrust before returning to a smooth pace, "I love you." Zak smiled as he planted a kiss on my hungry lips.

-"I-I love you too."
