Present Day

-"Wow. How come we haven't heard more about Elizabeth?" Aaron asked Zak and Nick as he sat down his camera to gently pick up the old journal.

-"I don't know. Maybe it's just one of those things that Red wanted to keep secret." Zak sighed as he took off the protective gloves as he finished reading Elizabeth Reed's personal thoughts.

-"I just can't believe that we possibly solved this case!" Nick said with excitement and sadness.

Zak agreed, "I can't believe how much of a coincidence it is. Their names are ours."

-"What if those guys were related to us? What if we were reborn from another era?" Nick asked as Zak looked at him like he was crazy.

-"I don't think that's possible." Zak said as he picked up Aaron's camera to continue filming.

-"I have something else you boys might wanna take a look at." Red said as he twirled the hotel's keys around his finger.

Red led the guys to another room that was next to the office, taking out a light blue dress that was ripped from the neck, all the way down to the waist - the dress that Nick had cut off of Elizabeth that was stated in her journal.

-"How come you never told us about this?" Zak asked as it was their fourth time being at the Goldfield Hotel to film a return episode for the last time.

-"It was a case that I didn't want to bring up." Red explained.

-"I'm glad you finally showed us!" Zak sighed as he exited the room and the hotel due to an extreme amount of sadness washing over him.

He now knew why Elizabeth came into contact with Zak the most - in her journal, her and Zak were almost inseparable after their journey together. Nobody knows what happened to the cowboys Zak and Nick, maybe Elizabeth's ghost would give some closure.

-"Elizabeth? I brought you some flowers, sweetie." Zak said through his respirator mask as he sat down the bouquet of flowers next to the radiator where she had died. Zak wanted to cry as he now fully understood what truly happened to Elizabeth.

-"You okay bro?" Aaron asked as he pointed the camera towards Zak as he wiped his eyes through his mask.

-"No. I gotta get out of here. There's just so much sadness." Zak stated before charging out of the room and up the staircase.

He caught his breath. He was beyond confused as he couldn't believe that the three men from Tombstone had the exact same first and last names. Zak then thought about his very first investigation at the Goldfield Hotel, remembering the cold chill that he felt on his forearm as he sat in Elizabeth's room followed by a mist that was captured at the exact moment.

-'She was trying to contact me.' Zak thought to himself. All of these questions ran through his mind:

Did she try and contact Zak from the modern day world?

Did she feel like he could save her, even in the afterlife?

Zak then grabbed the ovulus from his pocket as he arrived back into the room that Elizabeth had lost her life, "Can I be alone in here guys?" Zak asked softly as he sat beside of the heat radiator.

Nick and Aaron both nodded.

-"Elizabeth? It's Zak. I'm here, sweetie." Zak said into the darkness.

-"...Zachary."

Zak smiled as he finally made intelligent contact.

-"Yes, it's me sweetie. You're okay now."

-"...No."

-"Why not?"

-"...Zachary...child...gone."

At the soft words from Elizabeth, uncontrollable tears fell from Zak's eyes. He felt like the Zak from her era was channelling through him to make contact with his beloved.

-"I'm so sorry sweetie." Zak whispered into the darkness before feeling the same cold chill he once felt on his forearm several years ago on his first investigation.

-"Sweetie is that you touching me?"

No response.

Zak felt a cold presence on his face, feeling like a woman's hand was grazing his face.

-"...beloved."

-"Am I your beloved?" Zak asked into the darkness, feeling light at Elizabeth's presence.

No response.

Zak then felt the cold radiator that had been out of work for almost a century, taking in the emotion from Elizabeth that she had left - the fright, the sadness, and the abuse.

-"I wish I could've taken you away from this!" Zak whispered.

-"...you..did."

With those words from her passed soul, that was the last Zak had heard of Elizabeth's precious voice.

-"...love." The last voice Zak had heard as he left the room of intense emotion. "I love you too." Zak replied as he wiped another tear from his cheek.

-"How was it?" Nick asked as he turned off his camera as Zak met him and Aaron at base.

-"Emotional." Zak breathed as he zipped up his jacket.

-"I still can't believe Red never told us about Elizabeth." Nick said.

-"It's an untold story." Aaron added.

-"Not anymore."
