"shit, my mom's calling." i looked at the caller id that was displayed on my phone. "well, aren't you gonna answer it?" dallon asked. "yeah, i guess." i nodded before answering the call.
my mom immediately asked me where i've been. after telling her i was at dallon's, she told me to come home.
"bye mom, love you." i said before hanging up. "uh, i have to go." i told dallon. "oh, alright." he nodded.
"thank you for letting me stay." i smiled before standing up. "yeah, of course! you can come anytime." he told me as he got up and unlocked the door.
"thank you so much, dallon. i'll see you tomorrow." i grinned as i walked out the front door. "yeah, hope you feel better!" he waved to me as i walked away. "thanks, bye!" i called out. "bye!" he laughed before closing the door.
so then i was alone with my conflicting thoughts.
