     i knocked on the door twice and pulled my phone out to check the time. it was around six. the door opened and i saw ryan who had a huge smile.

     "hey brenny," he greeted me as he pulled me into a hug.

     "hi ry." i smiled.

     ryan pulled me inside and shut the door. "my dad's out getting some groceries, so i don't think we have to worry too much about anything," he told me as we walked over to his room.

     "alright, so, what do you wanna do?" i asked.

     "i kinda just wanna do everything you were talking about last night, y'know?" ryan answered, sitting down on the bed and motioning me to come with him. "just lay in each other's arms and talk." ryan wrapped his arms around me and pulled me down. i laughed a little.

"god, you're being so cheesy," i chuckled.

"what's wrong with me being cheesy?" he squeezed me tighter and lowered his voice. i let out another laugh before we went quiet. ryan ran his fingers through my hair and i felt more relaxed than ever.

"you have the nicest eyes," ryan mumbled.

     "they're just brown," i told him as i held back a laugh.

     "yeah, yeah, sure, but you have the friendliest eyes. is that any better?" ryan asked. i laughed.

     "you're so dumb," i told him as i shuffled closer to him.

     "well, remember what otto said? i'm stupid for you, aren't i?"

     i rolled my eyes before staring into his. "like i said earlier, you're so cheesy."

     "you know you love it." ryan grinned.

     i sighed. "yeah, you're right." ryan chuckled.

     "can i kiss you?"

     "duh."
