All of the sudden I started to wake up, everything was blurry and I could barely open my eyes.

I heard weird bleeping sounds and voices, they were all far away.

What happened?

As I kept trying to focus my view I woke a little more. I realized that the bleeping sounds were familiar. That's when I noticed I was at the hospital, the sounds came from machines that were connected to me.

I tried to move but my whole body felt like heavy weights.

Suddenly I noticed where the voices came from, it was Mike. He sat next to my bed. When I looked to the other side to see who he was talking to I saw Ashley.

Did she knew?

Did Mike tell her?

And where was Fenna?

What if she wouldn't remember what we had?

Why wasn't she there?!

I tried to talk but the noise that came out of my mouth was hardly a voice.

"It's okay.. you're back",

Mike whispered when he noticed my attempt to talk.

That's when I actually realized I was myself again, as I looked down I saw cuts and bruises on my arms. This explained why I felt so miserable. I was me again.

But how?,

what happened?

"F.. w.. where..",

I tried my hardest best to ask where Fenna was but I was too weak.

"She's at home, you're only allowed to have us in your room",

Mike explained.

I felt myself dozing off again but I tried to keep my eyes open.

"Just close them",

Mike smiled.

"Here maybe this will help you sleep",

Ashley laid my bear next to me.

With the tiny bit of strength I had I took it close to me and cuddled it.

When I woke up again I felt a little bit better, that nap was really nice.

"Hee you woke up",

Ashley rubbed some hair out of my face.

"Do you know?",

I finally managed to talk again.

"Yes Mike told me everything, I'm so sorry baby. If I had known they'd place you in a family of alcoholics I would've kept you",

Ashley sighed.

I could tell she meant it, tears were burning in her eyes.

"W.. why did you gave me away",

I asked quietly.

"I didn't want it but my parents forced me to. It was either giving you up for adoption or getting an abortion.. I'm so sorry",

Ashley explained.

"It's okay.. at least you're here now.. you've already been there for me more these past couple of months than my foster parents all these years",

I smiled.

"I love you",

Ashley hugged me.
