HAH Bet you thought it was an update!

Happy April Fools :3

Please don't kill me I don't wanna die

Okay I genuinely feel bad, and I don't do pranks so here's something that I've been working on :D

Warnings: Please do NOT expect this to be posted as a complete story, even though I have been writing the entire story. It's for something I'm hoping would succeed ;3

Anyway, enjoy! And I'm sorry for the small prank

As the sun was setting, a young boy could be seen sleeping under a tree on the grassy hill. His messy, brown hair covered his eyes as he lay on the bed of grass, enjoying the short-lived serenity.

His friend approached him slowly, before jumping on top of him, startling the boy.

"Gin!" she screamed playfully at his face before the boy gently shoved her off him.

"What's wrong, Mika?" the boy asked as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.

"I'm bored!" she whined. "Play with me!"

"But..." the boy mumbled, wanting to return to his sleep. However, the girl had already pulled him up his feet.

"Let's go!" the girl urged, but the boy suddenly froze in place, as if something had just dawned on him. The girl, concerned, shook his arm. "Gin?"

The boy snapped out of his thoughts and smiled at her.

"Nothing!" He laughed and tugged her along down the hill. "Let's go."

The girl stared at him as they continued down the hill. What had caused the boy's sudden change of behaviour?

"Mika?" It was his turn to question her.

The girl just smiled and shook her head in response. The boy tilted his head in curiosity but did not pursue the topic and continued their journey.

As the two close friends walked, a figure watched them from the shadows. His yellow eyes gleamed and they closely followed the pair.

"Would you finally be able to defy fate?" the figure asked to no one in particular. "Time's ticking... You can't stay in this loop forever."

The figure stopped in his tracks and turned his back towards the pair and walked away, but one of them noticed him since he began the tailing. They did not say a word about the mysterious figure to the other. After all, they would meet in the near future.

'This time,' they thought to themselves. 'I'll save you.'

Somewhere in the distance, a loud chime could be heard, signalling the start of the twisted game.
