A small explanation on the soulmate AU I'm using...

Whenever your soulmate listens to a song, the song will play in your mind too. It will only stop if your soulmate stops listening to the song. 

Anyway, as per usual enjoy!

SOULMATE AU

A familiar tune played in his head and Mafumafu sighed again.

Whoever his soulmate was, they were obviously in love with the utaite himself.

"Why are you sighing again, Mafu?" Amatsuki, who was sitting next to him asked. "Your soulmate playing your songs on loop again?"

"Unfortunately," Mafumafu said as he face-planted on the table. "Don't get me wrong. I love the music I make, but listening to them over and over can get sickening."

"Well, maybe your soulmate is trying to tell you something." Amatsuki tapped his finger on the table.

"That may be true," Mafumafu hummed as the song stopped playing in his head. "But what other than 'I'm a fan of you'?"

"I love you?" Amatsuki laughed at his own response. Mafumafu groaned and sat up straight once more.

"There are bet-" Mafumafu was cut off when he heard his own voice in his mind.

"Mafu?" Amatsuki asked, worried for the sudden silence of his friend.

This song was Soraru's favourite song from him, was it not? Yume no mata yume...

His face redden slightly and he buried his face in his arms.

"Are you thinking about Soraru again?" Amatsuki teased as he poked the albino's cheeks.

"Stop!" Mafumafu begged as he pushed Amatsuki's finger away. "It's not like he will like me back..."

"Who knows? I heard he likes your songs a lot too." Amatsuki shrugged. "Maybe he's your soulmate."

"That wouldn't be possible..." Mafumafu sighed as he looked up again. "He probably like some pretty girl..."

Amatsuki hummed before whacking Mafumafu's head.

"Where's that positive Mafu that helped me confessed to Kashi?"

Mafumafu whined softly as he buried his face once more.

"That's you... I'm not that brave..."

"Well, man up before I lock you in a closet with Soraru," Amatsuki said with a smile.

"You wouldn't." Mafumafu glared at the red-eyed brunette.

"Oh, I would, Mafu~" Amatsuki teased. "Want to test that theory?"

Mafumafu groaned, knowing his friend would do it.

"I don't want to take away his possible soulmate..." Mafumafu hid his face again, tears slowly forming in his eyes.
