Furry Friend

Seth arrived shortly later to take Charlotte out, and this time they had Carlisle's permission.
"Do you know what I was thinking on my way over here?" Asked Seth, as they strolled through a different part of the woods, than the day before.
"No, what?" Questioned Charlotte.
"I realised that you haven't actually seen my wolf form yet"
"That's true, we've been too busy getting to know each other"
"Well I want to remedy that now. If you'd like me to?"
"Sure, I'd love to see your wolf form".

Seth nodded his head, and stopped to take off his shirt and trousers, making Charlotte feel embaressed.
Seeing Seth shirtless was very over-whelming for Charlotte, which is why she turned her head to the side, so that he could finish getting undressed in peace.
Suddenly she heard a strange growling sound coming from behind her, so she turned back around, only to come face to face with Seth's wolf form.
At first she was a bit taken aback by the size of the wolf, as he was closer to a bear in size, than a dog.
But when Seth nudged his wet nose against Charlotte's nose, she smiled and began to relax.
Seth lowered his head and allowed Charlotte to pet him, and stroke his fur.
"This is very strange" mumbled Charlotte, as she ran her fingers through his hair.

Seth then knelt down to the ground, offering Charlotte his back, and she got the message.
Charlotte lifted up one leg over Seth, as she climbed onto his back.
Once she was comfy she gripped onto his fur, to stop herself from falling off as Seth got back to his feet.
When he was certain that she wasn't going to fall off, Seth sprinted off into the trees, making Charlotte gasp.
She knew that Seth was going to be fast, but she hadn't expected him to be able to run as fast as her, because she'd assumed that vampires were faster than wolves.

Eventually Seth stopped beside a small creek, and allowed Charlotte to get off before turning back into a human.
"That was amazing" exclaimed Charlotte, her excitement taking over her embarressment at seeing Seth without his shirt on.
Seth grinned as he untied his clothes from his leg and began put them back on.
"I'm glad you enjoyed yourself" he sighed as he sat down beside the water, clearly out of breath.
That was one thing Charlotte didn't miss, as she would never be out of breath again, due to the fact that she didn't have to breathe any more.

"You were incredible" praised Charlotte, as she sat down beside him.
"Thanks. So, what did you think of my wolf?" Asked Seth.
"I thought he was pretty sweet" replied Charlotte.
Seth frowned, "You were supposed to say handsome of ferocious. Puppies are sweet, not werewolves".
"Well you were those things too. And I expect you do look scary when you're hunting your prey. But I only saw the cute side of you"
"So you think I'm cute?"
"I meant your wolf form"
"So as a human I'm not cute?"
"No- Yes- No, I don't know how to answer this".

Seth grinned and splashed Charlotte with water from the lake, to show that he was only teasing her.
"Hey. It's not good to surprise a vampire, you know. Especially an unpredictable one like me" warned Charlotte, as she tried to dry the spots that had gotten wet.
"I trust you. Even more since I heard what Carlisle said you did this morning. You restrained yourself and didn't hurt Charlie. I'm so proud of you" smiled Seth.
"I wish everyone would stop saying that they're proud of me, as I haven't done anything worthy of praise yet. And if I want my life to go back to normal, then I have to do much better than this" sighed Charlotte.

"What do you mean, go back to normal? You're a vampire now, and you've moved in with the Cullens. Things will never go back to how they were" reminded Seth.
"I know that. But I'm sick of being housebound. I want to get out into the world again. I want to see my friends again. I even want to go back to school" admitted Charlotte.
"Really?"
"Yes, I actually quite like school"
"That's good, because you'll be doing a lot of it for the rest of your life. And when the Cullens move, you'll have to restart your education again".

"Carlisle mentioned moving the other day, but I didn't quite understand what he meant" admitted Charlotte.
"Well it won't be any time soon. But at some point you'll all have to leave" revealed Seth.
"Why?"
"Because none of you age, and at some point, people are going to notice. They might have to move more often now, since you were only 16 when you were turned, and people will notice that you inparticular are not aging"
"Oh, I hadn't thought of that".

"Don't worry. It might not happen for like 5 or 6 years. And me and Jake will be coming with you wherever you go, since I don't want to live without you, and he feels the same about Renesmee" admitted Seth.
"I hadn't realised how much of an inconveniance I've been for the Cullens" replied Charlotte quietly.
"You are not an inconveniance. The Cullens wanted you to be a part of their family"
"But they only changed me because you imprinted on me, so they had no choice"
"That's not true. They had already voted on making you a part of their family, before me and the other wolves turned up. They already wanted to save you, it had nothing to do with me".

"I just hate feeling like a burden to them" revealed Charlotte.
Seth took hold of her hands and held them tight.
"You are not a burden to anyone. You're a gift. And we're all lucky to have you in our lives" he said firmly.
"It's vert strange to hear someone say that. I've never been wanted before" Charlotte admitted.
"Well you are wanted now... Especially by me. And I refuse to live in a world where you don't exist. You mean everything to me, and I don't want to ever lose you"
"I don't plan on going anywhere, any time soon. So it looks like you're stuck with me".
