Chapter 8

**Morgan's POV**

Sitting in the one of the chairs of the waiting area, you see as they come up the stairs you stand up and put your arm behind your back to hide the dinosaur.  "Here they come" you tell your parents as you smile as they approach you laugh as Adam apologizes for being late. "It's no problem, it's a pleasure to meet you Joanne and Kyle.  I'm Morgan, and these are my parents, Joseph & Helenrose.  I hope you don't mind but it's kind of a tradition but I have something for Kyle?" You look between Adam & Joanne to see what they say, as you see a big infectious smile grow on Kyle's face.

**Adam's POV**

As Morgan introduces you to her parents, you reach out to shake hands with her Dad who gives you a very solid handshake, then smiling and nodding your head to her mom who just pulls you into a hug and you can't help but laugh. Joanne hugs them both as well as Kyle waves, then your thrown off as Morgan says she has a gift for Kyle and seeing how he excited he gets.  Joanne answers before you could, "Of course, what do you say Kyle?".  Morgan is then down to be closer to Kyle's height and hands him a Dinosaur action figure and he surprises you and wraps his arms around her neck hugging her, "Thank you!!! I love dinosaurs, I didn't have a long neck one!".  You see the biggest smile wrap on Morgan's face and you feel yourself melting.  "Well let me go check us in for dinner."  Walking over you check in and they say your table is ready, waving over the gang to follow you.  You notice when you all sit down Morgan's Dad reminds you of Martin Scorsese he makes sure that he seated to face the door, making a mental note of the very New York/Italian bravado. 

**Morgan's POV** 

You smile at Joanne and bend down to get to Kyle's height and hand him the dinosaur and are shocked when he wraps his arms around you in a tight hug.  Feeling grateful & happy that he so excited for the toy, as you feel a big cheesy smile grow on your face.  Excited by how well everyone is getting along so far.  Hearing Adam say that the table is ready, you say to Kyle, "Are you ready to go eat?" He nods his head as he releases his death grip around your neck to grab your hand and hug the dinosaur in the other hand, leading you over to Adam, you laugh in your head thinking you can see he is a mix of his parents.  Playing follow the leader you are surprised as you see they sit you at a table next to the window, knowing that these seats are perfect for viewing the fireworks when they go off later.
