Chapter 15

**Morgan's POV**

The next couple of days just blended into one another, going to work, coming home, back and forth.  Getting ready for work you make sure to bring a dress with you some wedges.  Throwing your make-up bag in your purse you head out the door in your scrubs and try not to worry about later.  Grateful that it's Saturday so we get to go home at 6 instead of the normal 7pm.  When the last patient is checked in and they are pretesting you go into the bathroom and get ready for tonight, grateful you learned how to do your makeup quickly years ago.  Coming back out and sitting up front while we wait for the doctor to finish up with the patient.  Laughing at your one co-worker who is deep cleaning everything, to the point that she is on her hands and knees cleaning even the bottom of the chairs.  They all start teasing you as to where are you going since you look so good.  You tell them your going to dinner with your parents, which isn't really a lie but it's not the full truth haha.  Saying goodnight to everyone you rush out the door and head to your car, you call your parents to let them know that you are on your way up to Brooklyn so that they can get ready to leave as well.  You put your pandora and gps on heading over to Brooklyn.  

Feeling a little more comfortable with where you are driving you start to go up and down the streets, tonight was your lucky day and you find a spot right down the street.  Before getting out of your car you call your parents, "Hey just checking up to see where you guys are?" "We actually are already here, we were waiting for your call, we are going to start walking up to the address now that we know you're here." Your mom says to you as you hang up with them.  You decide to call Adam next since you aren't sure how getting into the building works.  "Hey, just calling to let you know we are all here, walking to the apartment right now and I wasn't sure how it works as far as getting in."  You start to laugh, as you look down the street and you see your parents with their arms full of things. "I'll be down in just a minute don't let any strange men follow you this time".  You laugh even harder while shaking your head and wave to your parents.  "I see you guys are nervous with how much stuff you brought.  Do you need me to carry anything?  Adam is coming down to let us in, so he'll just be a couple of minutes."  Shaking his head, "No don't worry we got it." You roll your eyes and take one of the bags out of your mom's hands.  Hearing the door unlock behind you, you turn to see a smiling Adam holding the door open for you all to come in.

**Adam's POV**

After spending the whole day cleaning the apartment, making sure nothing is out of place, wanting to give Morgan's parents the best impression you can.  Knowing that to most people it seems silly but you want it to go as smoothly as possible.  Trying to keep yourself busy you even took Moose out for a long walk so that you wouldn't be pacing the floors.  Looking at the time, you see that you should be hearing from them soon, smelling the deliciousness that Joanne is cooking.  Kissing her on the cheek as you hug her from behind, "This smells amazing, I love when you cook to feed an army" you tease her as she chuckles.  "You mean just to feed you, you bottomless pit!  Please do me a favor and go set the table."  Kissing her cheek again, "Yes Ma'am" you laugh especially as she shakes her head at you, grabbing the nice plates out of the cabinet, "How many layers of plates am I setting?".  You can tell she is counting in her head the food she has prepared.  "Hmm we need a dinner plate, an appetizer plate, a salad bowl, wine glasses, regular glasses, forks, knives, spoons, napkins.  I think that should be all we need."  Reaching into the cabinet you pull out the collection of plates and bowls that you need putting them down precisely in front of each chair, wanting it all to be unable for them to pick apart.  Heading back in you get the regular cups & napkins, putting them in order, heading back in to get the silverware & wine glasses.  Once everything is put where it needs to go you look over the table and give yourself a small pat on the back for a job well done just as your phone rings.  Pulling the phone out of your pocket you smile seeing it's Morgan as you answer the phone, "Hey, just calling to let you know we are all here, walking to the apartment right now and I wasn't sure how it works as far as getting in." You hear her laughing before you can answer and wonder why is happening.  Deciding to tease her you say, "I'll be down in just a minute don't let any strange men follow you this time". Hearing her laugh makes you smile even bigger. "Hey bunny, they are here I will be right back, I'm going to go downstairs to let them in." You say as you grab your keys and head downstairs.  Walking down to the elevator you start to get more and more excited, ready to see how Joseph & HelenRose react.  As you get out of the elevator and walk to the door you see Morgan & her parents with bags of things you smile as you open the door.   Before you can even say anything Morgan has already turned towards you and is walking towards you, she looks amazing you want to just pull her into your arms and kiss her yet know you can't.    As they all enter the lobby, Morgan reminds them, "I know first instinct is hug & kiss but wait until we get into the apartment in case there is paparazzi outside."  They nod their heads as they follow Morgan and you offer to take some of the bags, and the only one that agrees is HelenRose.  Noting again how proud and old school Morgan's father is, getting to the elevator you press the button as you all have some small talk about everyone's week, the elevator comes quick as one of your neighbors steps out with their child, "Good night Kylo Ren!" You say Goodnight and smile as you all step into the elevator.  You see the amusement in everyone's faces as you take the ride up, unlocking the door to the apartment.  "Honey we're back!" You say as you open the door holding it open for them all as they come in.  Joanne comes out of the kitchen as you all do your best to hug and kiss while juggling bags.  "Oh my, you didn't have to do all this!  Thank you so much here follow me and we'll put all this down."  Joanne says guiding everyone into the kitchen as everyone works on taking things out of the bags.  You see a big tray of meat & cheese come out of one bag, a couple of pies, and what looks like home made cookies as well along with a couple of bottles of wine.  "From when we met you, we know you have a big appetite for food and life so we couldn't come here empty handed no matter how much you would ask for us to." HelenRose smiled as she said that putting down the last pie on the counter.  "This is so generous of you guys, we all know Adam is a bottomless pit so there really is no such thing as too much food with him around."  Joanne says which causes everyone in the room to laugh.  "While Joanne is putting the final touches on cooking please make yourselves comfortable."  You grab the meat & cheese platter and bring it into the dining room, placing it on the middle of the table.   Morgan ushers her parents into the dining room, "This is the dining room, and what I think is an awesome addition which is that door in the corner." She says smiling and you take her lead, "Yes this is our wine room/alcohol closet, it makes things very convenient when having dinner parties."  You open the door as Joseph & HelenRose take a look inside, you see his eyes light up.
