I was stuck. I had no idea what the plan actually was. I thought I'd be able to think of this huge plan that would make people bow down on their knees but no. I have nothing.

What if I throw a party? Nah, that would be too much work to clean up. And I'm not sure if a drunk confession is the way to go. 

As I'm thinking of a master plan, someone knocks on my door. "Hey, can I come in?" I hear Leo say from the other side of the door. "No, I'm thinking of my master plan, go away!" I shout but he ignores it and comes in anyways. 

"I have an Ide-" he begins to say, but I cut him off. "No, no, let your little sister take care of this." He rolls his eyes and takes a seat on my bed. "Just listen," he pleads and I sigh. I stare at him, "alright, what?"

"Athena's birthday is coming up and--" I cut him off once again, "Omg! Athena's birthday is a perfect way t--" this time he cuts me off, "ugh, just listen!" I close my mouth and say sorry.

"As I was saying, I usually get Athena some chocolates or something but I want to do something different this year so I can actually show her that I like her." He looks up at me nervously for a reaction at his idea and honestly, it was amazing. "That's perfect! when is her birthday?" I ask already thinking of a million things he could do. "It's the day after tomorrow." I clap my hands in excitement. "Alright, let's pick out the gift tomorrow! now get out of my room." I push him out of the room.

The next day at school I distracted Athena and told her that there was a note on her locker. When she went to check what it was I told everyone to huddle up around the lunch table. 

"What note was on her locker?" Nico asks and I roll my eyes, "there was no note. I just needed to distract her." "Why?" he asks again. "Because Leo is finally planning on confessing." their bodies stiffen once I had said that. Elijah was definitely paying more attention now."Wait, what, really?" Vanessa says snapping me out of staring at Elijah.

I nod my head, "since her birthday is tomorrow he's going to give her something and confess." their eyes widen and Nico screams, "yes! finally, this boy has been waiting for too long." I look around at the people staring at us and then glare at Nico shutting him up.

Without noticing someone taps my back, I turn around to see Athena standing there confused. "There was no note on my locker?" she tells me and takes a seat on the table. "O-oh, the person must've taken it off," I say and eat my food trying not to look too obvious.

While eating I got a text from Leo.

Try not to say anything today okay? 

I roll my eyes. Does he think that low of me? Ugh, tHe rEspecT.

Of course not, who do you think I am? mom? I reply.

Whatever, just don't say anything. I'm setting up the gift right now.

setting up? what kind of gift are you getting her? I reply.

I wait a couple of seconds for his reply but he just leaves me on read. Oh, how rude. 

I put my phone away and look up only to find a girl that wasn't there before. I almost jump in my seat when I see her. I look around to see everyone else looking at her weirdly as well. No one says anything, they just watch her. She was sitting beside Elijah, leaning in towards him.

The more I look at her the more familiar she looks. "Excuse me, who are you?" Athena is the first one to speak and we all look at the girl. "Um, I'm Emma. Emma Terry," she says like she expects us to know. 

WAIT A MINUTE. "You were that bitch that pushed me in the halls the other day!" she scoffs, "you were the one that pushed me!" I look at her like she's lost her god damn mind.
