Leo's POV:

I didn't know what happened.

One thing I knew I was excited to go on a date with the most amazing girl in the world and the next, I'm standing in a bedroom with the same girl lying unconscious on the floor.

I tried screaming for her to wake up. Grabbing my phone in my shaking hands, I dial 911.

And now I'm here, in the hospital.

"The surgery will take a couple of hours so you might want to sit down sir, " the nurse says, pointing to the chairs behind me.

I tried sitting down and relaxing but I couldn't.

I needed someone.

My sister is the first person to pop in my head.

I pick out my phone from my pocket and dial Jennies number.
She's not picking up.

My foot started to fidget and I couldn't stand being in the hospital for any minute longer.

I grab my car keys and jog towards the car.

My mind is all over the place. Will Athena be okay? What's going on in that operation room? How did all of this happen?

In an instant, a car started driving straight towards me. I snap out of my thought and swerve to the right, missing the car just by a little.

Fuck, snap out of it Leo.

"M-mr. Thompson!" the secretary yells as I run towards the elevators.

I have no time for stopping, I need someone by me, telling me everything will be okay.

At the same time I needed to be at the hospital so I had to get this done quickly.

I barge into Jennie's office, breathless, not caring whether she was having an important meeting or not.

Jennie flinches to the sound and to my surprise, so does Elijah beside her.

They look at me with a questioning glance.

I guess I should've prepared them for the words I was about to say next.

"G-guys, I-it's Athena. She's in the hospital."

___

"Leo, calm down, It'll be okay."

We've been in the waiting room fo the past two hours and there has been no update on Athena. There was no way I was about to leave without news that Athena will be okay.

"I can't calm down Elijah! God knows what's happening in that room," I yell, frustrated that no one has updated me on my babygirl.

(A/N I vomit a little while writing romance-y words. ok bye.)

To my left, Jennie was trying to comfort Athena's parents. When they found out Athena was at the hospital, they arrived in the first five minutes of the phone call.

I jumped out of my seat when a woman with blue scrubs had walked up to Athena's parents and Jennie.

I rushed over to the three as well as Elijah.

"The surgery is going well, she'll be in there for a little longer though. Everything will be okay. I should head back into the OR but I'll be back when the surgery is over."

All of us let out a sigh of relief knowing Athena was in good hands and that she'll be okay.

The doctor then looked over to me and said that the cops would be here in a little while to ask me some questions about what I saw at the scene.
