Chapter 3 - No!

Meghan pov

"Now why do you think that I would join?" He shrugged.

"You do not belong to this world." He pointed at me I froze.  "I know that you know nen. And you are strong" I sighed.

"Fine but I will not join on one of your raids" I glared at him. "Do you kill innocent people?"

"If nessecary" he said buntly. He acted like it was a normal thing.

"What!!" I was enraged Why do you have to kill people like that?

"It is because our group was formed in Meter City.  It is a place where people dump trash. There is no such thing as a identity there.  We had to scavage for food every day." His eyes looked distant as he explained.

"Oh I'm sorry I didn't know" I rubbed my arm.

"It's fine." He smiled softly his eyes genuinely happy I meant it. "But back to buisness you will be member 0"

"Why number 0?" I was confused either he didn't know that it starts on 1 not 0 ir something else.

"Well in order to be a member you have to kill an existing member. But you will be a secret you do not have to go to our meetings unless it's mandatory" he explained. Then a voice shouted out

'Hey boss what do we do with her?"

As they came back they made a semi circle around us.

"She will be member 0" he told them.

'Oh ok welcome to the troupe..'

"It's Meghan" I quickly told him.

'Welcome Meghan. I'm Shalnark nice to meet you' extended his hand. "Sorry for surprising you earlier" he gave me a sheepish grin.

"It's fine" I smiled. His face got red.

"I'm Machi" a girl with a knee high kimono stepped in front of me. "I'll introduce to you the rest of the members. That's Nobunaga" she used her thumb to point at a man wearing a old Japanese style clothing his mustache and beard were not shaven off. His hair was in a high pony tail with cloth.

"That's Franklin" she continued. He was very big with very long ears and his skin had a lot of scars on them. Yeah yeah you know the rest.

As time passed I get closer to the troupe. Me and Chrollo were always with each other. But the most suspicious person in the troupe was Omokage he would always look at me it was weird. Me and Machi were as close as sisters. Chrollo and I were in a relationship now , he very caring and nice it you get to know him. As I settled in I always thought, 'what would I be doing now if this never happened? Would anyone miss me?'
